well the manual transmission makes a bit of difference , the 4 speed auto is just horrible in this car...i've used it for six months but it's really comfortable and sure footed, nice interior too...well atleast much better than the previous models
Even though the 1.5 is not fast, the car is still is more exiting and fun to drive than most of the cars in its category and it's very very stable on the road and gives you very good confidence when cornering at high speeds

i floor it at launch and it reach 7k rpm before it change gear , no other 1.5A car can do it i think.

as far as I know that the 1.5L engines are SOHC, can you tell me if thats right????

Only the 2.0 model is SOHC(aka bullet proof engine) while the 1.5 and 2.5WRX are DOHC with AVC
the 1.5 has higher rev limit and sounds much more different than the 2.0 model

my friend, the 1.5 auto is crap , a toyota corola can beat it easily(which i've raced)
The crappy automatic transmission and heavy AWD system makes the car hardly pickup against a 1970 VW Beetle...

True, my lightly-modified FWD Subaru R2 can easily outrun the 1.5 AT Impreza in a straight line race.

only 190 km/h , while the the 2.0RS i got now reaches 210 max then it's locked by some kind of computer thing.
