  • Do you know how much an adult brachypelma smithi would likely cost? I want to get one, but I don't know where to look or what a good price is for them. I've seen spiderlings go for as low as $15 but I hear spiderlings are hard to take care of. If they aren't hard to take care of, please tell me. I'd imagine watching one grow up would be much more fun and rewarding than having an adult right away.

  • Cool tarantulas, I got a Rose Hair Tarantula about three weeks ago and she's been very gentle, I got videos of her on here. I'm about to put another one on here later on this week that I made last night of her eating a cricket, I had to fight with the cricket for about three minutes before he got close enough to her to catch him. But, she's the only tarantula I'll have for right now, but I'm planning on getting a mexican redknee to add to my collection later on.

  • @madamoisele1 very nice collection. do you work at tarantula canada? i see u know jon sosiak. im ian and im always looking to meet other hobbyists :)

  • the chaco gets up to 8.5, i have an 8.5 inch female chaco. i got her mature for 45 can u believe that haha! i also have a rose hair. my second rosie. i am getting a smithi, a pulchra, and some pokies soon. my favorite is the p metallica. what is yours?

  • @GalaxyTrigger82 Does it hurt when it bites?! What happens?

  • How much could I get a brachypelma Smithi for here in the UK?

  • I love Tarantula's I've always wondered how safe they are as a pet..Dont they bite?

  • @LittleMissKeshia they can bite but all the species she showed in her video all have very low temperants. you shouldnt handle the spider too much but if you were all these are great spiders. very low maintenance also.

  • I've always been afraid as fuck of spiders, but I realy want a tarantula, it's fucking wierd, but you saying that they can bite you?? Does it hurt??

  • are they fast moving type of spiders and if they bite you does it hurt?

  • I want a big 12 inch spider for my first. is that recommended or not?

  • dont call them your collection call them pets animals arnt for collecting dick fart

  • would you recommend a brazilian white knee for a beginner ?

  • I'm thinking of buying a spider...when i was small i was afraid of those one CM spiders LOL can you recomend any nice spider for me? i still live with my mum...she dont want any agressive or biting animals XD

  • spiderbros

  • Sweet, I have ALOT of Garden Orb Weaver in my backyard I guess I'm lucky for a spider freak, but not as lucky as u :)

  • That is awesome, i want one too, and i live in Australia, btw did u catch her?

  • @yomancaster No wild tarantulas where I live - it's too cold in the winter in this part of Florida for them to survive. All mine are purchased.

  • @yomancaster I have a pet tarantula her name is fluffy shes a red hair never catch them but get them at ..

  • Where'd you get those arboreal tanks like the one your avic avic are in

  • @Ameth0814 There's a local pet store close to where I work that briefly had that model of tank in their store last year - for $20!! Believe it or not - I thought they were under priced for sure, so I picked up all they had. Apparently the supplier stopped making them and they couldn't get any more in, is what I was told. I believe it was from Southland Reptiles. Should be able to find it on a google search if they're still available.

  • are they poisonous ?

  • @kacperkapral Yes, but not lethally so. The toxicity level for these particular species is mild to moderate - about like a bee sting to a hornet sting in intensity. Because of low venom, they're less likely to bite and more likely to tend towards a more docile type of nature.

  • i hope to meet a woman someday like you that loves arachnids as much i do! lol, i love the video :)

  • I'm thinking of getting a Brachypelma smithii..... one day. :)

  • @larshermanns They're completely awesome in every way. One of my favorites for the beauty plus docility levels.

  • im thinking about geting a trantula any sugjestions

  • @505rafa I'd say a g. rosea or b. smithi, possibly a g. pulchripes. :)

  • @madamoisele1 how do u heat your ts?

  • this is pretty cool

  • I'm thinking of getting a mexican red knee, is it not possible to wear thick gloves when handling them ?

  • @Feverishgeoduck NO real point in wearing gloves since tarantulas are soft and furry. I handle my Pink Toe spiderling with love and care.

  • your golden knees looks way more like a guy

  • What a beautiful species!

  • do you need a heating mat for a grammostola rosea?

  • why dont they bite you?

  • @mustiej70 I only handle the docile species. :) Also, I've learned their body language by observation and by paying attention to this, I am able to handle them a bit more "safely". Of course, they can still be unpredictable and anytime you handle any tarantula there's some risk involved of a bite.

  • @madamoisele1 can it kill you? i mean some of these spiders have strong poisen

  • @mustiej70 There's never been a documented case of death by tarantula bite (for humans!). Most species, if they did bite, it would be about like a bee sting. There are some species which will cause terrible cramping and pain for days or weeks - I don't handle these. I've seen people who handle them, but I personally am not willing to take the risk. A bee sting I can handle if it happens.

  • @madamoisele1 soo most spiders..scorpions in houses.. are not deadly against humans?

hmm.. i thought these were as deadly as you would see in the amazone.. or somewhere in africa

  • @mustiej70 I'm speaking strictly of tarantulas. The "true spiders" (think Orb Weavers, wolf spiders, black widows, brown recluses, crab spiders, etc etc - web building spiders), some of them can hurt you. Some of them reportedly can kill you without treatment. The types of spiders called "Tarantulas" cannot kill you.

  • @madamoisele1 oh god im so stupid.. i thought tarantulas were one of those "killers"

  • @mustiej70 Regarding scorpions - I know nothing about them. I couldn't advise you on their toxicity.

  • @madamoisele1 scorpions can be tamed, emperors are very common pets due to their docile nature and their very weak venom just like the tarantula its near the equivalent of a bee sting. the deadliest scorpion is the 'death walker' which is very light colored and the smaller they are the higher toxicity they have. hope that helps.

  • @madamoisele1 what about Sydney funnel web spiders? ive heard they kill

  • I had a chilli rose but it got out and i have no idea where it is now :( im serious

  • please explain how that is beautiful?

  • @keightley2011 This is not just her and my hobby its alot of peoples hobby we take great pride in our tarantulas and we think they are wonderful gentle giants so stop trolling

  • @XTrueXDevil im not trolling, hope i didn't come across as i am, i just don't see how they are beautiful.. just my opinion.. no need to get all angry about it..

  • @XTrueXDevil im sorry I got angry and I understand how you dont think they are beautiful

  • they are beautifull creations arnt they. i want a collection my self

  • What kind of sling is the first one you show? I watched it over again, but you didn't say the name. :)

  • @MoodyAby That was a psalmapoes cambredgi (Trinidad Olive). :) That one didn't make it, but I got two freebie replacements, both of which are about 1.5 inches now and spectacularly beautiful. I need to make another update video!

  • im terrified to spiderstheir my nightmare lol

  • @GalaxyTrigger82 Probably a "Grammastola Rosea", aka, Rosehair Tarantula. Or, a Pinktoe arboreal (Avicularia Avicularia). They're both inexpensive and very docile (Usually!).

  • Comment removed

  • i have the challenge of raising a sling. 1.25 inches.

  • @THEZOOLOGIST123 I have a few slings now - I much prefer the older ones. The small cages tend to tumble more than I'd like.

  • that's a lie she never been 6 and a half inches

  • for your first question, I don't know. Unless you are talking about the red colorform rosea, which means they are the same spider with different colorations. The best container for any spider is something clear, sized appropriately according to the size of the spiderling. If it's under an inch, you can use a pill bottle, then scale up from there. Deli cups are popular. When they get big enough, use a critter keeper. If your spider is 7" or larger, use a 10 gallon aquarium.

  • hey , what is the difference between a red chile and a chile rose tarantula ?, what is the best container for spiderlings and what is the best to house adult faunariums (small / medium/ large)?, write back asap, thanks william .
