  • Hi, I just wanted to say that I've made a cucumber and french green clay soap. I pureed the cucumber in a blender, then froze into ice cubes. I then used that as my "water" to mix with the lye, just as audreyhunts said. It worked well. Anyway, I'm really enjoying your videos and your sense of humor :)

  • @jakemsom1994 Thank you!!! and I should get into the habit of working with the freezer;) I haven't yet, and it'll be an adventure!

  • I am so excited to try these out!!!

In a month or so I will absolutely give an update to how all of these soaps went! So, mid to late January:) Thank you everyone for your comments; I couldn't have asked for a more supportive viewing group!!!

  • Looks good. I am very surprised it came out that good. Bet it works well on your face.

  • @Seedcovers You and me BOTH!

I'll be trying it once it's dried out, I'll let you know:)

  • I LOVE the color!! Yay!! I'll have to try cucumber pulp soap one of these days. I'm not sure if I saw you do this, but you could have used the cucumber juice for part of your water too. Might as well use the juice you squeezed out.

  • @audreyhunts AAAH! That's a great idea! I actually consumed the left over everything ::grins:: it smelled so good! Next time for sure. I have some tweeking to do on this recipe I think. Super....."moist". Trying to figure out how to change that.

  • I was wondering if you were going to keep notes on each soap and let us know how they all compared, and what property's they gave your skin in comparison to a basic soap recipe. After they all cure of course.
