i had never heard about that salary story. wow. girls are more aggressive these days. my 8 y.o. girls team scrimmages boys all the time and they dish the elbows and shoulders and don't back down!

read her book if you get a chance. it's pretty good.

Wonderful, humble speech. Anson has done so much for women's soccer. Both are inspirations to athletic achievement and selfless sportsmanship.

There are a few outstanding women players...but, this speech exemplifies why Mia is the best.
