The point is to have fun! And be original. The official goal is to make your "human powered flying machine" to go the furthest. It doesn't really even have to fly, it just has to go further than everyone else. And if you think you can do better your welcome to try.

A flugtag is an attempt by amateurs to make a flying machine, and there are points awarded for distance flown and for use of Redbull ads and I think style/design as well. Just another crazy fun sporting event brought to you by Redbull!
