I think you completely failed to see the point of this. In the game you are TOLD that you are going to be watching the credits, and if you press B you are randomly taken to a picture of this dancing guy instead. This was released long before rickrolling became popular. Definitely one of the first of it's kind.

@Nintendorkus I know I'm necrobumping this reply, but it's been said that Miyamoto has been known in the video game industry to go "all out" when demonstrating an idea he has a hard time putting to words.

Like when he was helping an animator decide how to make mario swim in Mario 64. Apparently Shiggy belly flopped onto the desk in front of him and went through the motions when he couldn't describe it well enough.
