What a great guy with an amazing voice! Don't mean to sound like a jerk, but does every contestant that moves on to Hollywood have a sob story of some sort? I don't think anybody's personal lives should be involved with a singing competition. We all know they incorporate it with the show just to make "good" t.v. Contestants should move on because they're good...not because of a guilt trip. Anyway...I'm happy for the guy and give him a huge amount of respect for sticking to his word.

To top it off....this proves the show is rigged. Why did the judges just by chance happen to ask about his girlfriend? Because they were told to. If you noticed, the only contestants that make it to Hollywood are the ones that have a camera crew come to their house and interview them about their life ahead of time. All of the people obviously deserve to be on the show because their talented...but its the ones with the most interesting lives that actually make it to performances.

What should be important is we remember this guy has a good voice are we relying on her misfortune to state the quality ?
