I'm just saying union players aren't as perfect as many of the "holier than thou" fans would have you believe.
It's always puzzled me that at the top level Union players tend to leave their fights on the field and have a beer with their opponents afterwards, whereas their cousins in League tend to keep the animosities rolling ...

@DD5975 Erm, have you seen the number of rugby players who have been disciplined for criminal damage, fighting and anti social behavior in recent years? Look at Cipriani, Andy Powell, Gavin Henson, Bradley Davies, Jamie Roberts, Basteraud to name but a few recent incidents.
I love Rugby, but we are by no means exempt from stupidity by players off the field. The fans behavior however is almost always impeccable.
