What game is the final piece of music taken from??? Does anyone know, and if so, is it up here on youtube to listen to? Its excellent- its the only one I dont recognise. I thought it was from giana sisters, but ive heard the soundtracks to that game up here, and its not included in it. Anybody know??
@stew1301 Hey, thanks a lot for the info! I just found the music itself off lemon 64. Never played that one before, so I didnt recognise the music. God, its brilliant. Very eerie. I've been wanting to hear it properly for a while, so thanks for the news on it.!
I must admit that (besides "Turrican") "Grand Prix Circuit" impressed me the most at that time. It was running totally smooth on my breadbox, still featuring outstanding visuals. I think it was the best racing game ever made on the C64.
"Turrican" was best on the C64 (imho), "Turrican II" on the other hand was clearly better on the Amiga.
A nice summary of some of the greatest games that were ever released on the C64. :)
Some classic games and music there. Turrican and Last Ninja 2 were my favourites. Is the final piece of music,as the end credits roll up,from Great Giana Sisters? I never got to play that game, unfortunatly.

The final piece is taken from "Hades Nebula". The author ist Ben Daglish, who also has written the music from Last Ninja 1.

It's pretty amazing how the music from nearly every C64 video game sounds similar to popular music of the '80's.

The RTYPE music is one the best I've heard...impressive and punchy.

I remember people saying how easy it was to copy the game tapes just using tape to tape

@katakisLives Yeah, it was easy with two 1541s too, until copy protections started spawning all over the place.

Cool!
Hat der Assembler code am Anfang eine spezielle Bedeutung, oder ist das einfach irgendein Schnipsel?

Nö, hab ich irgendwo auf einer Internetseite kopiert. Bedeutung ist mir unbekannt.
