My concept of hell is spiritual torment by the FIRE of God's true words. Now what I'm saying is it will be hell for those who wants and still have the desire to live in sin. For an example, you didnt want to go to church on Sunday so you can watch football game but you were force to go. You will be outside the kingdom wailing and gnashing your teeth wanting to get in the city but not allow to enter God's house until you are clean. So at that point all unbelievers are 'departed from God".
You people are blinding yourselves! Jesus sacrificed was no in vane. You guys have idea what is like to live in god. No wonder why many people die without knowing Jesus.
If Aramaic was the language of the common people in Jesus' day why was the inscription on the cross (Luke 23:47) only written in Greek, Latin and Hebrew? Why did the new testament authors write in Greek and not the supposed common language? How does the abscence of a word in a language render a place non existent? Rev. 14:9-11 doesn't name this place of torment but that it exist is clear, Is there an Aramaic word for the lake of fire in Rev. 20:14,15? No matter soon enough we will know in truth
@mwilson70201 Aramaic and Hebrew were closely related.
Paleo-Hebrew was Phoenician. Aramaic was very similar.
Mathew is considered Hebrew but really Aramaic.
Our English translations even quote the Aramaic words of Paul, Christ and others.
Evidence from 1st century israel shows that Aramaic was the main language of the population. the NT supports this view by giving place names and some words of Jesus in Aramaic.
Gabbatha, Gethsemane, Golgotha are all Aramaic names.
@mwilson70201 Mar 5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her,Talitha cumi;(Aramaic=Rise) which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. Talitha(the little girl)
Mar 7:34 ..../ and saith unto him, Ephphatha(Aramaic), that is, Be opened. eloi eloi lama sabachthani, “my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” ( Mark 15:34). Aramaic
also= abba, ephphatha, korbanas, mammonas, maranatha, rabbi, raka, talitha koumi, and eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani.
@mwilson70201 The enemies of Yahweh really don't care about truth.
The scriptures were being confiscated and burned during Christian persecution.
The scriptures they found years alter were far from Israel until..
The dead sea scrolls revealed the Aramaic Peshitta most people just didn't care that they reveal the truth scriptures were Aramaic. the Aramaic books were full of Aramaic Idioms and word plays which was common in the OT.
The Greek versions miss out the Idioms and word plays.
@mwilson70201 peshitta -org- forum Take a look One such word play Paul used was left in his original words. "Anathema Maranatha." Proof that Paul spoke Aramaic. Means, "let him be accursed, the Lord come! Aramaic words rhyme often and can be very poetic so this is very common. We live in a evil world where we should never accept what everyone says.. Dig and Research.. There is a treasure waiting. All names starting with BAR are Aramaic. ie: Bartholomew, Barjonas, Barnabas, Barabbas etc.
WOW. Go read Rob Bell's "Love Wins". He touches on several points in this video. Of course this will upset the folks who rely on the English (mis)translation of the garbage dump and the non-Jewish, Greek concept of afterlife suffering, but the Truth will out, eventually.
@mowr Ive just been trawling through what the jews were taught about afterlife and NONE teach there is an eternal hellfire burning but that all say that the punishments/judgements are in order to REDEEM and stir mans heart to REPENT from their sins.Jesus was to the jews at the time, either Messiah or a great teacher who knew God's Word inside out and back to front. If the jews had a corrupt twisted understanding of "eternal torment" then why didn't Jesus ever correct them?Bcos they were RIGHT. :)
The Jews used to speak on Gehenna as a place of temporary chastisement for the wicked from what I've been told,.. Possibly, This is a reason Christ spoke on Gehenna since they already had made it known that Gehenna was good place to punish evil doers,
@GenMata Thanks for comment :) And I find it interesting that IF their understanding of "gehenna" was wrong, that surely Jesus would have told them while He spoke to them. But it appears there was no need to because they already understood if was a temporary place of punishment for the wicked. Some say that the punishment is to bring about repentance... either way, It sort of reinforces the teaching/exposing of hell being NOT an "eternal" place of torture etc.. God bless you friend.

After Paul Received this last Revelation dealing with Salvation Then paul went back and made many Amendments to his Other Writings , Paul also Wrote NOW (63ad) I have a SOUND MIND & NO FEAR=Good Mental Health
I still believe that hell is true... but not for the faithful believers of Christ. Hell was made for the devil and for those who keep on rejecting the Gospel
@GenMata all the ancient near eastern "deities" are personifications of natural phenomena as perceived by the ancient peoples. Such as Eros representing love, Venus sexual love, Gaia land, Hades the unseen, etc. Yeah you are right it means master, and represented fertility as well.
What about the word "church" and its origins? Google church and circe together and see who she is. then read Rev 17 to 18, especially Rev 18:4. Get my point yet?
A loving God that would send humans to an eternal torment is a contradiction which never made sense in my mind. The scripture has been misinterpreted with Hell used as a weapon of fear.
@GenMata --Yes, it is definitely a lie and I was always uncomfortable with this belief. I mostly wanted this video in my favorites and play lists and to put on my channel for those who stop by. God opened my eyes beyond a shadow of a doubt almost four years ago and I have truly never been the same. Definitely hell is uses as a weapon of fear...so sad!
4]Now lets look at vs54. Did I say the Hebrew Study Bible? I met the King James Version, Sorry.
That thou might bear thine own shame, and may be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort to them. Jerusalem had despised these other heathen nations and the thought of sharing in the same restoration was a humiliation. Ezekiel was provoking Judah to repent and return to the one true God. Hope this helps
To see the lake of fire we need to let scripture paint the picture.2Pet1:21 through 2Pet3 gives an overview of God's judgments from the time period just before the flood to The Day of The Lord God's final judgment. 2Pet2:6 reads And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorraha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly. The theme of final destruction for the unjust is paramount. (cont)
@potooth Christ said had he been there in Sodom he could have turned them around.
Does it makes since that God would allow them to perish and be punished knowing he could have change them? That like a firefighter standing across the street watching a house burn to the ground.
Somewhere in the scriptures is says God would raise Sodom and her sisters cities up again one day and they would be righteous again.
@GenMata righteous people who never heard his name from all nations, kindreds and tongues. I think my hunch is right. There will be many surprises in heaven.
For judgement I am come into the world. The word judgement in this verse is the greek word krima#2917. It means the result of or the effect of. Jesus is the light of the world and he revealed the darkness in mens hearts. By excepting(repenting) or rejecting the light(truth) they pronounced judgement on themselves. The light itself judged no man but by it those upon whom it shone were judged.
@potooth Joh 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. The question is what happens after judgment.
Chastisement was always the way of Gods correction.
Eternal torment does not corrects or forgive.
God is love. He told us to forgive our enemies which is his intentions for all men.
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
You people who buy this false doctrine NEED TO READ YOUR BIBLES!!!!!!
I saw the last verse you posted was John 12:47... What about John 12:48: "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day."
Also, where did you get this information about Gehenna and the Valley of Hinnom? How do you know that it was replaced with Hell by King James?
I did a keyword search on the book of James and did not see the word Gehenna. James 3:6 uses "fire of hell" at the end.
the Valley of Hinnom a.k.a. Gehenna runs just below the City of David, turns eastward and heads into the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea never empties and has no exit. The Dead Sea is full of minerals and nobody can swim the Sea long without death. it can be seen burning from afar due to the strong chemical deposits and loaded with sulfur. All Israelites knew the Lake of Fire as the Dead Sea.
Sulfur makes fires hotter and also used to cleanse.,
@GenMata - Thanks, I will check out E-Sword. So do you have any information about these people whose names are not written in the Book of Life? Once they are thrown into the Lake of Fire, they'll die, right? Isn't that the same concept of "Hell" that alot of Christians talk about?
Is. 66:24 "Then they will go forth and look On the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm will not die And their fire will not be quenched ; And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind."
This is great. I just put out some clips on the erroneous eternal hell doctrine too and another on what the lake of fire really is (the dead sea). Keep opening those eyes to the true light of Yahshua!
A wonderful video! The grace of God, by which I stand. It has never entered God's heart to burn anyone. But God is really into burning up the trash. There will be no trash in the Kingdom. No immorality, impurity, greed or idolatry, will be allowed.
I heard that that old Rabbis said that the wicked should be Chastised in Gehenna for no longer than 7 months. That would turn them around.
The same story claimed that was why Yeshua made the parables related to Gehenna.
It was a place they knew very well.
The poor that had no burial place were dumped there. It was nasty and the worm died not. Leopards were condemned to hang out there til they died or got better.
God, the Creator of ALL THAT IS seen and unseen, The Master of the Universe will NOT stoop as low as to MAKE humans the way they ARE, JUST so he could TORTURE them ETERNALLY in some fictitious hell that Jesus nor ANY of the Apostles EVER spoke or wrote about!!
@gilbertd2174 I never claimed he didn't speak any other language. So what is so inaccurate?
The scriptures have many phrases in Aramaic. "Talitha Kumi". Girl Arise.
ABBA = Father. Anathema Maranatha.
It's my belief that the original scriptures were first written in Aramaic. There are many Evil men who don't like the truth and try to keep the true scriptures hidden. The Aramaic version is Called the Peshiita which means 'Straight' peshitta org forum
Confusing.

@GenMata Doesn't the Bible teach resurrection?
beyondbeyondness 1 week ago
@beyondbeyondness Yes it does and Christ was the first fruits of the resurrection.
Most of us see the end game a deaths door. Isn't it possible that Yahweh can save people after they die?
Read Rom 5 closely.
Over and over it says that all who are born of Adam were condemned to die but through Christ all those will be justified to life.
He is the savior of the world, saving the world from their sins.
Behold the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the whole world.

Loonypics 3 days ago in playlist Hell Fire?
@Loonypics YES but you think those fo the first resurrection will sit and judge angels forever? Judgement should end soon after they begin? }
God is in the process of "Reconciliation" of all former things.
That makes it possible to reconcile Satan and his angels if God desires to. it's highly possible.
YHWH can change the hearts of anyone and make them new creatures.
He says he can. Its my belief that Satan was made to be an adversary from the beginning. Scriptures allude to that.

I believe it was translated in to Greek at a time when Romans were burning scriptures.
Some Aramaic versions and other made it out of the area in tact and went East.
The Eastern Orthodox Church believes they have the original scripture and they are in Aramaic..
in the English version you can find Aramaic written in the words of Christ and Paul.
That is what they spoke and it was written down that way

@IAmaNB John 12:47 & 48 seem to contradict?
Can that be? Elohiym isn't the author of confusion. "his words will judge in the last day." He will judge fruits
You need a good concordance to see what words were translated from the original scripture. Gehenna was the original words spoken by Christ.
Valley of Hinnom is old testament name for Gehenna. See Jere 7:31
Hinnom is written 13 times. HELL is not a Aramaic or Hebrew word.
Youngs literal translation has it "set on fire by the gehenna. "

Also, how would you explain this verse: Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
What is the lack of fire? Who are these people whose name is not found in the book of life?

@GenMata I believe that Elohiym is not calling or saving ALL men at this time.
Those he has not called before the last day will need to be cleansed.
He chose some in the beginning that would serve him and others that would not.
He created some as vessels of destruction and others that would glorify his name. He created the Adversary(Satan) and gave us plenty of Adversity.
We couldn't grow without adversity..
Elohiym's chastisement was always used as correction for his children.

@IAmANB We see thru a glass, dimly but one day face to face.
Many confuse the future destruction of flesh with the destruction of souls.
Wheat & Tares.
Elohiym created two kinds of people. Those who would glorify his name and those that would not. He is not making all men believers at this time.
We will have Adversity til the end of the age.
read 1 Cor 3
All men will die and then comes the resurrection of the Saints, only..
1000 year later, the 2nd resurrection.. ALL raised

Ok - I am interested. Did you simply look up all the underlying greek and hebrew and go from there?
mostradicalmanever 1 year ago
@mostradicalmanever The Youngs literal translation is based on the old Hebrew/Aramaic Scriptures and you won't find the word HELL in it.
Aramaic is what Christ and the disciples were speaking and it only makes sense that they write the NT in their own Language first.
Romans were burning the scriptures and killing Christians..
The Eastern Orthodox claim to have the original scriptures since the Apostles days. Many things suggest Aramaic was the primacy. peshitta org forum

Isaiah spoke of corpses. Not living spirits.

Is. 66:24 "Then they will go forth and look On the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm will not die And their fire will not be quenched ; And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind."

All those listening to Jesus were aware of Isaiah 66: 24

This is great. I just put out some clips on the erroneous eternal hell doctrine too and another on what the lake of fire really is (the dead sea). Keep opening those eyes to the true light of Yahshua!

Thank you for sharing. It's impossible to truly see a God full of an all inclusive love and grace sending anyone into eternal punishment.

A wonderful video! The grace of God, by which I stand. It has never entered God's heart to burn anyone. But God is really into burning up the trash. There will be no trash in the Kingdom. No immorality, impurity, greed or idolatry, will be allowed.

@therealgoodnews True.
Punishment always had the purpose of correction.

You the man Genmata!!
Another GREAT MASTERPIECE!!
THANK GOD!
And God bless you GenMata!

This is so full of inaccuracies. Jesus spoke hebrew, greek, latin and aramaic
gilbertd2174 2 years ago
How often did Jesus speak to native greek speakers?
BeingInTheMessiah 2 years ago
@gilbertd2174 I never claimed he didn't speak any other language. So what is so inaccurate?
The scriptures have many phrases in Aramaic. "Talitha Kumi". Girl Arise.
ABBA = Father. Anathema Maranatha.
It's my belief that the original scriptures were first written in Aramaic. There are many Evil men who don't like the truth and try to keep the true scriptures hidden. The Aramaic version is Called the Peshiita which means 'Straight' peshitta org forum
