I liked Predator 2 back when I first saw it, but that was simply because I didn't care at all about "bad acting" or anything. I was simply watching an alien who had the ability to cloak himself killing random people. I tried watching it again...and the acting pisses me off.

Meh its annoying to see critics "nitpick" a classic film to death. Predator 2 was great but the prequel was superior.

It's extremely difficult to make a film live up to its hype and its predecessor, only a few films have succeeded, most known is T2 and Aliens.

Uh, I saw the movie and the only problem I had with it was the acting. The effects were better and the movie referrences were nice, but the acting and filler was horrific. Other then that, I thought it was an OK B-movie.

I have just seen avpr and once again as a huge fan of both franchises i am extremely disappointed!though it was definately better than that pg-13 avp it seems to me that the execs in hollywood smelled success off the first one and whipped together some cgi effects and some unknown actors(to save money for the cgi effects)and said fukit about getting a quality screenplay and movie director which made both these films successfull!god I miss the ridley scott, john mcteirnan, james cameron days!!!!!

Predator 2: A couple of days later i showed him this movie. He was very excited at first, hoping that the movie was as innovative and action picked like its predecesor. In his own words he said that he only got the later . He said that the movie only moved the enviroment and was basicly the same story told again but ( and like this video says cleverly ) with a less likely main character to fight the predator. Neverless he praised the fight scenes and the alien schull detail.

Predator: This was the first movie i showed him. His basic oppinion was that the movie made a creature that although had great tecnology, it also was more than able to help himself out without it. He also foresaw that the predator wasnt evil at all but merely a hunter. He also praised the originality of the movie after i told him in what year it had been done.
