@TeHNyboR I'm tracing my already drawn lineart -- they're all shapes. If you work with the pen tool as a shape rather than a stroked line, you can make it whatever you want.
I'm curious as to what makes your pen tool be a solid color. Whenever I try and use the pen tool to make paths it's just a line, but yours is already filled with a color. Which preset allows you to do that in photoshop?
@LenaCS I'm not using Phptoshop. This is done in Illustrator.
However, you can set your pen tool to be a solid shape, but it creates a different kind of layer (I prefer illustrator for vector work -- always makes the most sense to me).
I'm curious about the way you use the pen tool. Could you, perhaps, do a tutorial on how you use it? I've noticed that you don't use the stroke option but rather the fill option when using the pen tool, correct?
@ErikInsanity there's no trick to it -- just a matter of making shapes. I demonstrate using it quite often in livestreams. :) Any tutorial I do would be the same as these videos (i.e. it's just a matter of using it, rther than having someone "show" you).

How do you achieve different line weights with the pen tool like that? Whenever I use it, it always turns out to be one solid weight
