I am sorry but irony doesn't translate on a page of written words only. If you read that without knowing you are being ironic, it read like you are condemning them.. I do not like condemnation for anyone. Jesus said he didn't come to condemn and neither should we. Maybe an emoticon : )would have helped me know that you were being ironic and not judgemental.
Emoticons, or no emoticons, most Americans, especially the Bible-bashing variety, are so defensive about their silly religions that irony is wasted on them. Any time you see a YT poster from Australia, be warned that we say a lot of things with our tongues firmly jammed in our cheeks. My point is that these Bible-bashers seem to be ignorant of their own Bible and its commands for women to wear their hair uncut.
My Silly religion is that I try my best to follow Jesus and do the things he taught us.Among them, is to not cast the first stone at anyone. Or any stones for that matter. I was saved in 1972. I am sorry you have a bad attitude toward Americans. "Most Americans" are not defensive or bible bashing.. We are just doing the best we can to follow Jesus. Our nation is a Christian nation with most of us believing in Christ as our Saviour. I think we are doing just fine in this country.

That song brings back memories. Before my grandpa died, him and a women from church would sing this song and I've never heard since he died.
