  • whta i did not understand a thing!

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Wow... This is the first time in my life I could keep upto her.. UNLIKE THE DAMN LISTENING TESTS & AUDIO'S AT SCHOOL! But yeah... this one is sure for beginners. Ps. I studied French for 5 years at school. 1 year more to go x_x

  • C'est "j'aime francais". "Aimer" est l'infinitive. Elle parle très lentement. Elle n'est pas francaise. Si vous aimez le langue francais, regardez "The Flight of the Chonchords" chanson en francais. Adieu et merci!

@offwiturhead just type in french for beginners in utb. Imagiers has a great 2 hour compilation of good beginner french lessons that kinda looks like a powerpoint. It helps keep me fresh. And check out that flight of the cochords song it's hilarious.

  • @wpk5009 c'est "la langue française", le mot "langue" est féminin

Si elle est française, si elle parle lentement, c'est uniquement pour faciliter la compréhension.

  • @BlackAmericanPrince Je suis TA professeur????????

    (professeur=toujours masc)

    :(

  • @gilsonbicudo

    What?

  • @gilsonbicudo

You want to know if you can say "ta professeur"? ,When you want to point out that your professor is a woman, you can use the adjectif possessif "my" in the feminine "ma" "ma prof". for example.C'est très courant à l'oral. In the spoken language, you hear "ma prof" and "ta prof" quite often. It's not a matter of a rule but it's common in spoken French.

Is that your proof that she is not French? lol

  • @BlackAmericanPrince Not at all. I just wondered because my teacher often corrected me about this and I don`t remember hearing it in France. Anyway I never had much contact with children or very familiar situations over there .... By the way, I don`t think a native speaker makes a better teacher. Fluent non-natives usually make better teachers because they`re more aware of the difficulties, etc

  • @gilsonbicudo

Your teacher is right, the word "professeur" is masculine, if you look up the word, you will see "nom masculin", that's not being disputed :-).

However, in the spoken language, it's very common to hear "ma prof", prof being short for "professeur". In France, depending on how long you stay of course, you will not hear every single term, expression used in spoken French but perhaps not in written French.

I agree with the rest of what you said, Fluent non-natives usually make

  • @gilsonbicudo

better teachers (from my experience as well).

You know, there are other examples of terms that were once considered to be grammatically incorrect (and still are by certain purists) and which today are widely used and accepted.

For example "après que", followed by the subjonctive is a prime example.

Another factor is this "mouvement de féminisation des noms de profession"

  • je aimer francais! je parle francais! au revoir!

  • reminds me of dora...

ok however i want to start learning french and i don't know a damn word...ok maybe like 3 words but does anyone know where i could find something for starters(kiddies) for free on the net?

  • lol i bearly began i really want to learn:) i only know 2 languages ..spanish......english lol!

  • what are you all taking about.. ive only been studying french for 4 months and this WAS easy.... it was like.. few numbers... basic introduction and A LITTLE BIT of easy vocabulaire...

  • Pretty cool, however the music and the intro are kinda trippy for me. Hahaha.

This is so much easier for me to learn in combination with Google translator.

The fact that there's no English translation forces me to pay attention till i figure it out...i kinda like it.

  • I've been studying french for five years.....and I could barely keep up...sigh

  • This must be French for French school children because I have been studying French via a home course for about 21 months now and i was just about keeping up with it

  • haha this is quite funny :P

  • Como estan todos cagadas les dejo sabeer que me la pelan.

  • elle parle pleinement français, ni anglais

~she is speaking full french, no english

  • bonjour como taile vu estup madam?

  • For french children, not french for children ;<

  • @NazgulMoonblade Actually, I think it works well as a teaching aide for children because it teaches French in the manner children learn their primary language--through complete immersion.

  • @JamesPotter20 lol thats what i thought, it is definetly best way to teach another language

  • @Itachi476 its difficult but sounds sexy

  • @NazgulMoonblade It's not for you either way...

  • @NazgulMoonblade I don't know what you mean. This is clearly a French language lesson for English speaking children.

  • oh de day tona hu they gruu wii lopee dert fredd hutre jahn paii hqadus udde!!!!

  • How am meant 2 learn wen i don't know wat shes saying

  • Do you want to learn french with a 6 y o teacher? have a look at my account, you can find what you're looking for about french lessons!

  • u reapeat what she is saying she says 1 baloon 2 baloon when she says repete that means repeat, wen she says tre bien that means well done :)

  • This looks kind of like a French teacher had a really bad acid trip.

  • @jkcogley bad? this looks like one amazing acid trip.

  • @jkcogley thizzz izzz tripppyyyy -.-

  • More like French for French people...

    Dis stupid guru video

  • i dont even kno wat ur saying

  • sounds like you live in a house with no cutains carpets or furniture..your voice vibrates too much it grate...bye bye my delusioned froggie..

  • the sound could be better

  • i think u need to showthem the word itself ..

because ithink it doesn't work withoutit

  • i like it but it was kinda fast and that would of been ok if it had the words to read along with what she is saying,

  • what the fuck is coo-coo!?!?!

  • its kinda "hello" remember the sound of the bird in a clock and you pay attention to it when it "cuckoos"? that's it!

  • LOL

    It's coucou and it's mean Hii :)

  • I don't think it's too terribly confusing... I've been doing Rosetta Stone for about a month and I was able to make it out. There are few words, so if your ear is used to listening to the language on a regular basis I think anyone could catch on. And I actually did learn something because I haven't heard that greeting... "coucou?" lol. Anyway I thought this was really fun and I like the colors! It is a refreshing break from the typical "Le poisson nage. Le cheval court" stuff.

  • Nice, but to be honest a lil scary. I just started learning french and have been going on youtube to hear people talk. Interesting to say the least

  • Very imaginiative. My French class understood most of it - they are 6. merçi!

  • already knew how to say ballon from Animaniacs

where they are speaking in french and Mindy is

    chasing her balloon around

  • HAHA me too!

  • you said that you like the feedback so i would say that explain a little bt , because it is going too fast and i didn't know what i was saying and i'm 18, i mean i didn't understand and learn too much :)

  • merci!

  • Bonne idée.

  • un ballon

  • blast from the 80s in the begging. :PP

  • i didn't understand nothing , but it's ok , thanks anyway

  • thank you

  • fantastic
