80's? I actually saw this cartoon as a kid in the 70s, although it must have been pretty rare for you not to see it until you were older. Four stars!

Are you positive? I recorded this one in 1985 and it seemed SO 80's to me at the time. I am positive I never saw it before 1985, although I admit I didn't watch Sesame Street in 1978 or 1979.

ISNorden speaks the truth! This cartoon has been on Sesame Street since at least 1972; the show had a series of these "What if?" segments that were produced for the show that year.

Boy, I don't remember it at all and I started watching Sesame Street in 1971 but I'll take your word for it. I guess I'll change my info. on this video. Thanks! By the way, how did you know for sure it was 1972?

I second...or third...ISNorden's claim that this is from the 1970s. I remember very well as a little kid (mid 1970s) cracking up at "George" knocking the blocks down. :>
