Sometimes they do not occur at all but without this file in the directory, they occur after 5 mins. I also found that no crashes occur when playing TS under an emulated Windows 98 or XP environment such as VMware (so far).
Apart from setting every single .exe in the Sun directory to Windows 95 compatibility mode and disabling adv text services, I found that copying ddraw.dll from WINDOWS\system32 to the Tiberiun Sun directory makes them happen much less (few hours).
where did you get yours?

Have you played the Tiberum Sun Retro 1.21 Mod on the PC? If you haven't, you really have to try this one out, it is excellent.
This also works fine on the Everun Note UMPC. No more internal errors or crashes after a simple fix on XP too.

no i haven't
and i hate the internal errors and desyncs etc

Yea, those internal errors are a major pain.
