Hi there... Have you looked at DietOramy food regimen (google it)? I found various tremendous stuff relating to it and in addition my son shed plenty of body fat from it.
@JanaINJax The weight I lost has come back and gone away a few times since I made this video. I have not met my goal, but I'm still at it! As of this morning, I have gained 2.2 pounds of fat and gained 1.2 pounds of lean mass since making the video. Then, I weighed 140 with a body fat percentage of 34%. Today I weigh 143.4 with a body fat percentage of 34.7%. Not too far off! If you want to see what I am doing these days, visit my blog.
The weight came off pretty slow for you. Maybe because you weren't very big to begin with. Regardless, I think you are GORGEOUS.. both before and after! I LOVE your clothes!! Hope you've met your goal by now, and thanks for the inspiration!
There can be a big difference with only a 20 pound loss of body fat, as you saw. I start weight lifting again soon, and I hope to make another video like this when I hit 25% body fat. In this video, my body fat was 34%.
Wow, that is encouraging. I only need to lose 20 lbs. not as dramatic as those who loose 150 lbs but that was great and it really made a visible difference.
Love the pics, Rebecca. That was fun to watch. I'm "psychjean" on the Atkins board. Over one year on Atkins myself (& 20lbs)...from a size 12 to a size 6-8.
@Mckick19 Well, aren't you sweet! My husband says I did not look bad before, too. But I'm happy that I lost what I did, and I'm looking forward to taking another pic soon so I can update this video.
Atkins is not what the Urban Legend says it is! It is real, whole, unprocessed foods. On Atkins, you eat moderate amounts of protein (not high protein), and vegetables, nuts, fruit, dairy, legumes and grains. The things that are restricted are refined flour and sugar and trans fats.
Do yourself a favor and read the research that shows that the Atkins diet is the way the humans are designed to eat. Read "The New Atkins for a New You".
