I love your voice, I just put your videos on play in the background as I do my Uni assignments. ^-^ And you always deliver a strong message, thank you.
I'm just in love with your mind!!! I totally feel you on that.I think also there's a lack of maturity when people start bashing like that and maybe even some jealousy .Lots of people go by what they have heard from someone else instead of finding out by themselves.I listen to peoples opinions but I always make my own, besides My Momma taught me better!!Negativity brings Negativity!! Kindness brings Kindness!!! Love brings Love ! We have to choose what we want to show!!! KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS!
I think people attack what they perceive to be a weak point be it one's race, a physical feature, age, education level blah blah blah.........yes, it's sad indeed. ;((( I don't go on youtube that much anymore because of this....I can't stand hate and disrespect. We wonder why there are wars......
I love your passion on this topic....thank you so much....
I feel you are really on the right track with your thoughts on racism. I see it all the time to on here, how people say something negative and someone just has to respond with the same degree of negativity. I think it's ridiculously petty, they go back and forth and they come away from it just hating each other even more and nothing get's resolved, just a complete waste of time. But I love your response on how to handle a racist remark. You are a very smart guy, keep up the good work :)
Being racist is one of the worst things someone can do. If you're judging someone because their White, Asian, Black, Indian or Hispanic then that's like judging someone born with natural blonde hair, you can't change the way you were born. Seriously, HOW DARE someone judge you for your nationality. I find it VERY VERY VERY offensive. I'm mixed and people have called me dirty because my parents are also mixed. It's extremely rude and disgusting.
I find that fear tends to be the impetus for many of the world's ills, especially racism. People fear that celebrating the strengths and beauty of another group will detract from their own power, position, or "cultural integrity." Embracing that which is different or unfamiliar takes confidence and courage.
if i ever insult someone for hateful comments, I don't bring race into it. Either way it's still kind of bad, but getting a handle on my aggravation is not always the easiest thing.
Even in our diversity there is more that unites us than separate us...
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.
What makes the whole deal even sadder is the fact that people start believing their own culture's stereotypes and racist ideologies. I can honestly say that I have experience more racism from my own race then anywhere else. But hate begets hate. . . whether or not it is expressed internally or externally depends I think on peoples upbringing. I'm sorry to sound so pessimistic. I really do hope to see the unicorn in my garage one day. I have always wanted a unicorn.
Well said. I've noticed here on youtube that positive comments encourage more positive comments, while negative comments lead to way more negative comments. Regarding the negative comments on Big Bang, I think a lot of non-asians bash on such a popular influential group like Big Bang because they are scared that they be overshadowed. Anyways, great video. Liked and favorited :D
Wow...this was a really insightful video. Really forced me to look at myself. I wud be lying if I said I wasn't guilty of lashing back at someone when they left hateful messages. In the heat of the moment I have hated particular races. When deep inside I really don't hate anyone. Like you said racism stops with us. It's definitely hard when someone's really struck a nerve. But I'll work on it. :)
StylinOut, I want to be the first person to commend you for speaking out on racism and the hypocrites here on YouTube. I, too noticed a lot the comments made on various videos, especially the Asian video. I agree with everything you discussed tonight. I probably couldn't have said it better myself. Also, have lots of fun on vacation and be safe. Look forward to more videos from you.

Racism is man's gravest threat to man - the maximum of hatred for a minimum of reason.
Abraham Joshua Heschel
Racism is a refuge for the ignorant. It seeks to divide and to destroy. It is the enemy of freedom, and deserves to be met head-on and stamped out.
Pierre Berton
Thanks for doing your part =)
