  • Had to watch this one again!! Gonna make this one soooon!!!

  • @TheVittleVlog Certainly a tasty one. Give it a try and a post. The recipe can be easily personalised, much like a meatloaf. A beer gravy is one I like to make at times too. cheers Rick! KtC

  • yep this is a beauty too!

  • @BELTED007 :) This is a nice one, for certain. I have regulary and thought I already posted my recipe, but I hadn't. Happy to share it with you. The wine is opitional but really does add a nice comfort to it. cheers! KtC

  • Tried it out. Very good recipe!

  • @schmuffinz A tasty dinner isn't it? A nice comfort food for this time of year. cheers! KtC

  • Oh dear me this looks so very tasty! Now when you say lean ground beef, do you mean the one with 10-12% fat content?

  • @mrdaym Thank you.

10 to 12% is about right for an extra-lean. 12 to 20% for 'lean'. I use the label 'lean' as try to get the leanest you can find. That would be fine. I find the less fat for this one is best. If it is too high in fat the sauce will show the evidence by being too greasy (yuk) even if the pan is well drained of fat.

Unless I am grilling up burgers on a grill I always go with the leanest.

This is a nice tasty meal with a nice rich sauce to boot.

    cheers, KtC

  • @chongma Fresh is fine but yes, can make it chunky and may not hold together. Just cut it up fine. Dry ingredients will blend infuse better into the meat though. Happy you enjoyed it. Recipes are guidlines. Work with what you have. cheers! KtC

  • Nice reminder! A back-to-the-basics-like-Mom-used-to-make recipe. I haven't actually made this for ages, and it's a good hearty rib stickin' meal. Queued for right after I finish the last of this pot roast I did the other day.

  • @anmoose I hear ya! We would have this regularly (no wine though lol). This is a nice prep. Hearty and tasty! Thanks Moosie! KtC

  • nice recipe. my parents used to buy frozen salisbury steak dinners, from the freezer section. i'd rather shit my pants, just to get out of dinner, than eat that crap. these look great.

  • @thatbastardson This is the real deal. Damn tasty and worth putting a tie on for. cheers KtC

  • @kooktocook that's all i needed to hear. i made it yesterday. The only thing that could have been better, is if you said, "and that's relevant real deal holyfield". I would have crapped my pants. You don't have to understand. Another fine recipe, that i enjoyed thoroughly.

  • this is so ghetto

  • @shiny747 Yep, that's why it will go for 18$ anywhere. cheers! KtC

  • This is something I enjoy, but have never made myself. Hate to admit, but I often buy this frozen meal. Thanks for the recipe. Looks good...

  • @MGABBYB A must try. This serving is big so you can always split in half for leftovers. Actually it freezes up well too and can be ready in a minute 'nuked later. No special wine used either or skip it and use 1/2 cup more broth. cheers Mary! KtC

  • yummy : )

  • @TheVittleVlog You will love this one Rick, for sure. I meant to add that beer can be used instead of the wine. Both work great and each provide a different taste. This one will certainly fill you up 'Hungry Man Style' lol cheers! KtC

  • I love you! *drool* *slobber* *whine*

  • @Texa41 lol Back at you sweet lady. Take a look at the previous post if you haven't, 'Pineapple Upside Down Cake'. For some reason it wasn't fully published for about a day after posting. Many missed it. cheers Susan! KtC

  • Forget TV dinners....I'm making this!!!

  • @2damnfunny lol I find the TV dinner ones are more on breadcrumb than meat. This takes about the same time as popping one of those in the oven. Enjoy, it is really delicious! KtC

  • It looks great:) I hope to make it soon. Thanks for this video!

  • @09pika09 Your welcome. This is a long overdue post that I am happy to finally get made. The wine can always be substituted for more broth but I recommend the wine for a real dining experience. Thank you, KtC

  • That's it...I'm making this today!

  • @Trollvomit Hi! I highly recommend. A nice hearty and tasty meal. Thank you for the comment. cheers, KtC
