I'm confused: Bjoerling seems to be a little "sterile" here but how can you resist hearing him? After just hearing Joseph Schmidt sing in E Minor, I liked this familiar song better--they both have the Nordic sound but Schmidt's is warmer & more communicative.  (Got to get off this addiction of listening to comparative recordings as haven't eaten all day but drunk from various springs: TX!)

Peanut butter and Jelly... love it: wholesome, pleasant, fun,,,,  Miscere utile dulci (or however it goes). Very apposite, I feel JB would appreciate the simile.
