So what did we learn from this video? This ball likes just like a thousand other bowling balls out there. The reaction and power and accuracy comes from the bowler.

this is a great ball ive had it since november of 2010 and the only flaw ive found is it wont hook at all if you dont clean it even 3-5 games.

@prixboy1 most hammers. I had the red reactive hammer, best ball I've ever had. Also shot some high series with the burgundy urethane. My latest hammer was the red pearl vibe (I think..I only used it for a few games) and that ball was horrible for me. Very erratic movement. Sometimes it would snap/hook wildly if it caught a dry spot, so I'd make a minor adjustment with my feet and then it might catch a small amount of oil and skate the whole lane. :P

i have the same ball and mine dont hit near like tht i have to lay it down on the thrd and pull it out across the first arrow to the right and it still comes in brooklyn i move my feet or my my mark and it comes in soft as crap

the black widow series was a disapointment in my opinion. Most succesfull were the first two. the original and the pearl

@1g0tm4dsk1llz I bowled a 297 game with the Venom, but that ball i hated so much. It would never come back to the pocket. I have the Hammer jigsaw and thats the best thing thats ever happened to me

i have thrown hammer in the past it just doesnt suite my game for some reason haven't really figured it out haha, i was debating between the corner and the virtual energy and i went with the energy due to my track record with hammer, im a storm and roto guy they just suite my game the best, better pin carry and better lane reaction, hey everyone has their brand haha

exactly the same thing here...i havent had much success except i have had tremendous success with the sauce...just switched to storm and roto grip and i love it....the ball reaction and you cant beat the pin carry

then again the shot where i bowl league changes every week so its hard to tell if its the ball or the shot, regardless my mutant hits like a truck and my virtual energy is the hardest hitting ball ive ever thrown haha

yeah they do lose some energy and reaction on the lane but i havent had problems with pin carry yet lol hopin it stays that way

My friend just got into Hammer balls after only using storm and brunswick. He cannot handle them at all and everyone always tells him he cant handle the Dark side lol

I only buy hammer balls if i can get a real good deal, they just aren't right for my style. I prefer Storm, roto grip, and ebonite.

it is a very tame drilling layout...but one that is effective on medium-light oil. I had mine drilled pin up between the fingers and the MB kicked out 2 inches to the right of the thumbhole and it hooks out of the house without oil....I kind of regret having it drilled so aggresive now. What can I do to tame it slightly at this point though?

Sand it down if its too snappy..

if i were you i would try polishing or shining the ball, my mate polished it, game after shining it he bowling a 300 with it.......

go high grit if it is too snappy also try polish on it as well

it really does depend on how you throw the ball how high your rev rate is and what kind of hook you have it drilled for.
