It is nice for a producer like him to do something a slightly different for a change. If we merely hear the same formula over and over again, it will just be boring. At least he changed his musical experiment a little in a good way of course, unlike other musicians we hear everyday. Kudos to him for break a new ground for himself.

In addition, this almost sounds a little like "Soon It Will Be Cold Enough To Build Fires" at the beginning of this song and beyond, but with the well-done vocals.
