  • Can you believe Mao was so stooopid to think population control was a dumb idea. This is what overpopulation gets you. Horrific working conditions for no money. You don't see anyone in Finland doing that kind of work. Finland was a pre-industrial agrarian backwater 60 years ago. Thank god for that one child per family policy.

  • @drmodestoesq

You do know that the result of limiting families to one child is that the workforce of china will soon be outnumbered by their elderly, and the economy of china will suffer for it.

Since, traditionally, it is the son's family that takes care of the parents, girls are being aborted and abandoned.

For a growing economy, your workforce needs to at least equal or exceed the number of people not in the workforce. You don't have any workforce if you have few children being born.

  • @SkynetDoctor I absolutely agree. This is a coercive reaction to the 8 children per family policy of Mao. The question is of course, is it an overreaction or a necessary step to insure the future prosperity of China. Without Mao's idiocy China would not be in the position it is today. Even other communist countries did not have the population explosion of China. That of course, was due to colossal numbers of voluntary abortions. China will also have an old age of retirement.

  • What is this work?

I seem to just only move pans.

  • Do it - at least for one month - tell us later about it - if u r still able to do this.

  • and if you fall into sleep, you are losing a finger or a hand and I bet they don't have enough money for hospital to put them back on.

  • Dude you fucking rock.

  • With one billion, three hundred million people in China, these men are lucky to have a job. Thankfully, China has tried to slow its population growth and raise everyone's standard of living.
