Henry, Sheriff, and Shane were played by different actors. The Chloe in this promo is the same is on the show. The actors they kept played Abby, Jimmy, Cal, Chloe, Danny, Sully, Booth, Malcolm, and Madison. In the Casting Feature on the HI DVD, it mentions them being in the presentation or 'the very beginning'. This presentation was the very beginning, before the actual tv series was filmed.

No, this was the presentation for the show before it was picked up for TV. They only kept 11 actors from this for the show, but all the other parts were recast.

H'sI is probably one of the greatest shows ever.

It's scared, it's funny sometimes, characters are great.

But I'm glad there's no more seasons. One is enough because it's better to finish too early than make another episodes which doesn't make sense.

Harper's Island was good. I have to admit that it did suck me in and I just had to keep watching. It did have its flaws too though. Ultimately it did what it was meant to do- entertain! It was a once off show which served its purpose well.

Filming began on August 8 and will continue until late January. It won't show in America until mid season 2009.

They shot a 15 minute presentation (similar to a pilot, but shorter) a few months ago so they could present something to CBS in order for it to get picked up,. Many shows failed to make it!

It will be shown on CBS in America and will air on Global in Canada. No release dates have been made for anywhere else as yet
