  • cafe racer bike

  • So... that's what I call design over functionality

  • >Black bike

    >Black pants

    >Black shirt

    >Black shoes

    Have fun getting hit

  • who would want this?

  • cool. but doesn't it damages the knees??

  • dude gets all the chicks

  • One question: has this bike any advantage?

  • raise the seat!

  • looks like it'd ruin your knees. way to fix what ain't broke. poser toy for bragging points zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  • fake

  • Any time you went through water or dirt that front wheel would throw it straight up into your face

  • I'd use that as a fixie ;)

  • oh god my legs cramp up just watching that. why no shots of him standing up out of the "saddle"/luggage rack?

    Looks fuckin sweet otherwise

  • Awesome bike. Longer cranks would make this look much more elegant, i think.

  • Without being able to get any real extension from his legs this looks incredibly uncomfortable. I bet in this position the cyclist wouldn't be able to ride up a average hill.

  • Looks totally cool but he might want to jack up that seat post before he blows out his knees.

  • wheelieing that would be piss :)

  • where's the wheelie?? ><

  • looks cool, could use an internal gear hub.

  • Конструкция хороша на первый взгляд... Но ноги всегда очень сильно согнуты, а значит педаляж не эффективный... Да и просто ноги быстро устанут.

  • awesome!

  • I want to try one of those !!

  • That's amazing cool bike

  • Lol that's redonk

  • that looks dumb

  • How much does it weigh?

  • Wow that is the most f-ed up thing I"ve ever seen!

  • it is comfortable?

  • Google iF Mode ;-)

  • Looks to be a heavily modified unicycle! Fork flex would cause the front tire to rub on the rear .... instant brake!

  • is he riding a pair of glasses ?

  • spot the frame !

  • wahnsinn geiles teil...haben will!

  • Really hope these "hit the market" soon, you all are creating some awesome things

  • Moves so slooooow... from video looks like 15 km/h max :)

  • @zapparello not surprised at all... that's what you get with 1:1 relation.

  • barspins, anyone?

  • batmans bike

  • Охуенный велосипед

  • It does turn can't you see?

  • can you not adjust seat height?? i couldnt ride far with so little leg extension.

  • not sure about that U shape..it needs at least one triangle to not fall apart

  • ...i want to see how your knees are after being bended for, dunno, a 10 km ride...

  • Can you turn corners with it?

  • Awesome!!!

  • whoa... raise your seat bud.

  • Pretty sure I could walk faster.

  • they should make the seat adjust up... for lower leg efficiency? nonetheless, pretty awesome

  • cool, i've always hated the sheer functionality of regular bikes. when/where can i buy one?

  • it doesn't turn?

  • talk about turning your jewels into jam............sopprano...singers now needed hahahhahahhahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • that's gotta hurt the knees

  • @zazenzach yeah, I had that thought, too... for this guy, looks like his seat needs to go up 6 inches or so...

  • Is this single speed? or internal gear?

  • omg! wheres the bike!

  • I guess it dosent turn.

  • Ignore the haters. EVERYTHING is a prototype. This is creative. Keep moving forward.

  • That is the bee's knees.

  • ouch! worst design ever. i don't know what makes me cringe more - that he's balancing on his balls cause the seat is about a foot forward of where it should be, or that his legs are all crunched up cause the seat is about a foot lower than it should be.

  • つまり36inchってことか?

  • 一輪車を2台くっつけたような自転車。

    ギアなし、チェーンなし。

    うぅ〜ん!

    強靭な筋肉がなければ、上り坂はきつそう!

  • thats gotta be awesome for your knees

  • stealth! o.0

  • simple and sexy (the bike, people)

  • it looks so uncomfortable I would prefer to ride bare-ass on a cacti

  • It would be nice to see a mount/dismount on the bike. I for one don't have a 37" inseam.

  • Have you any videos of the 29 inch?

  • Awesome!

  • What an absolutley terrible idea!

Go learn about frame geometry and simple bike setup!

    BARF.

  • gonna break your knees on that thing

  • I would prefer a normal unicycle or a normal bike.

  • Now I have seen everything.

  • it looks uncomfortable, it is expensive and I don't see any advantage from normal bike

  • it just looks really friggin unergonomic and uncomfortable.

Fine for an art project, unpractical for actual riding.

    No thanks I'll pass

  • Seat is too low.

  • That would be a very uncomfortable ride. No shocks.

  • @mitch438 ...most bikes dont have shocks

  • that is cool, when can i buy one?

  • Wow thats awesome! I so want one

  • that is awesome. hopefully they make a fixed gear version. this one seems to have a freewheel mechanism.

  • I would ride that.

  • Get ready for some sore knees with that setup... can't you raise the seat?

  • are there benefits to having larger wheels? the bike looks kind of uncomfortable

  • Make this bike!!!!

  • Finally, a bicycle no one will want to steal

  • at bottom of stroke his knee angle is still so small...not sure if want.

  • It's a good thing this bike is being designed for people who aren't going to ride it more than half a mile every other sunday, because that sort of fit will definitely ruin someone's body.

  • they seem really uncomfortable lol. Theres a lot better fixed gear bikes out there

  • useless and stiff, not worth the disks brakes it comes with.

  • Unusual design. You should upload a few more vids, close ups and going downhill. Does it not make your knees hurt in that odd position ?

  • Under $300 i'm buying.

  • how on earth does that rear hub work? it defies me lol. This is a great idea for a compact bicycle.

  • Looks cool, but must be horrible to use. Or?

  • Why? Somebody please tell me why. Besides an inefficient pedaling position and overly large tires I don't see why someone would own this

  • how fast can it go? does it have any gears?

  • nice

    but needs

    considerable

    refinement

    (ask the japanese)

  • Sweeeeeeet...want to try one right away...is a rear brake needed/available?

Can legs, feet hit rear spinning wheel?- saw a fendered version on the website

    Weight?

How about "V"ing out the frame from the side view (or curved heart like frame) so no "top tube" .. me thinks the effect would be an almost frameless riding experience - I am sitting on one wheel with just handlebars steering another wheel. . .

    The Ultimate Zen Roll.

  • nytimes woot!

  • FIRST. cool bike.

  • an 1860's design worsened by bad ergonomics... too much weight on arms and bend in knees. :(

Biggest drawbacks: gear ratio! 100rpm cadence @ 12mph, nut-crushing standover height. A Schlumpf would help the first issue.

Looks neat if you turn off your brain, though...

  • Oh dear. Form over function.

Not got any corners in your alternative universe, then?
