@oh1hek Nope, Waits' "Alice" is one of the greatest tributes to that wonderful book and Burton butchered it by turning delightful mixture of nonsence, dreams, madness and imagination into piece of typical "good vs. evil (also epic battles and shit)" Hollywood movie. I would rather see collaboration of Tom and Czech director Jan Svankmajer - he is pure genius, watch his "Something from Alice" - it's pure surrealistic bliss.
PS. Yeah, I'm kind of "Alice in Wonderland" nerd. :p
@residentevlidead I was thinking something similar. But not in a TB's movie but in the new Batman movie as Bane. I think he would pull it off just great. Then again, what does this man do wrong?
tom waits, never losin that feel, his imagery, soul and sound, i think he's one of the best artists of modern times, but i'm sure you already knew that.
I was accidently listening to this with channel 4s The Curfew music on at the same time, it sounds really good. If I could work out a way to download both and mix them together I would. =)
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh home again...............
