I wish people would stop thinking those lines around the mouth were ugly. They have never been ugly. They will never be ugly. They can be quite lovely, actually, on the right person.
Something is wrong from the start. Physicians don't inject fillers into the nasal labial fold through the mouth! They fill from the surface of the skin. Whoever did this guy's fill, did not follow medical guidelines. There are plenty of physicians who want to perform cosmetic procedures because they make a lot of money, but not every physician is qualified to perform these procedures. Researching a physician's qualification and specialty certifications is the first essential step to take!
After the first procedure he "decided against his better judgment" to go do it again. Explain how you decide to do something against YOUR OWN BETTER JUDGMENT.

This was likely not infection, rather and most likely arterial compromise due to injection over or close to the facial artery and causing skin necrosis. Bad call!

This is really really stupid. THE CAUSE OF THE INFECTION WAS FROM STAFF AT THE FRIKKEN CLINIC. THEY FAILED to properly clean their equipment. ALWAYS ask to see a NEW needle opened up fresh and clean.....as well as the botox bottles. Be sure clean gloves are put on by the physician. He didn't take care of his health care...this is what he gets, dumb ass.
It sounds to me as though whoever did this procedure was not very competent and did not use the correct or safe methods... I hope this poor man got some sort of compensation for this disaster :-(

They discussed infection but the probable culprit was vascular occlusion. The filler may have been injected too quickly. Right when he noticed the "white spot" which indicated vascular occlusion he should have contacted his filler provider immediately. An enzyme to dissolve the filler could have been used if the filler was a hyaluronic acid filler. Otherwise heat, massage, and nitropaste. Unfortunate circumstance, very rare...
wouldn't that be if the injector injected too deeply? I never heard of anyone having an occulusion unless the needle hit a vein, which is way below the skin, normally this is a very simple procedure...god knows what happened with that needle...
I hate to say this, but his nose doesn't really look all that bad. I know it a bit "off" but not so much that people are going to be disgusted by it. He could always have the other nostril lifted a bit, but overall, I don't think it makes much of a difference in the way he looks

I am young and got 18 point shots of botox.and you know something? it all only lasted maximum 2 months almost to the day. hey and when you get the botox initially it takes about 3 to 4 days for it to start working. next comes dermal filler, i got my lips plumped up . ohh that was great...while it lasted a full 1 and 1/2 months what a rip, and I got the better crosslinked hyaluronic injections (crosslinked lasts longer ,it takes longer for your body to break it down)

IramFromEngland, botox is not permanent. some people's immune system can neutralize the toxin that botox is much quicker, if you got a droopy eyelid you were definitely administered too much botox in an inappropriate muscle that controls your lid. They discussed infection but the probable culprit was vascular occlusion. The filler may have been injected too quickly. Right when he noticed the "white spot" which indicated vascular occlusion he should have contacted his filler provider immediately. An enzyme to dissolve the filler could have been used if the filler was a hyaluronic acid filler. Otherwise heat, massage, and nitropaste. Unfortunate circumstance, very rare...

wouldn't that be if the injector injected too deeply? I never heard of anyone having an occulusion unless the needle hit a vein, which is way below the skin, normally this is a very simple procedure...god knows what happened with that needle...

I hate to say this, but his nose doesn't really look all that bad. I know it a bit "off" but not so much that people are going to be disgusted by it. He could always have the other nostril lifted a bit, but overall, I don't think it makes much of a difference in the way he looks

I am young and got 18 point shots of botox.and you know something? it all only lasted maximum 2 months almost to the day. hey and when you get the botox initially it takes about 3 to 4 days for it to start working. next comes dermal filler, i got my lips plumped up . ohh that was great...while it lasted a full 1 and 1/2 months what a rip, and I got the better crosslinked hyaluronic injections (crosslinked lasts longer ,it takes longer for your body to break it down)

i had botox that helps with headaches it was really good until i went to a beautician cos they were doing it a little cheaper and she fucked it up. a week later my left eyebrow drooped and my right one intensified making me look like freak, it took 4months for my left eyebrow to lift again but unfortunately my right eyebrow is still high and its been over a year now and still not come down, so i have two uneven eyebrows. does anyone know why its not come down i thought botox was not permanent.

IramFromEngland, botox is not permanent. some people's immune system can neutralize the toxin that botox is much quicker, if you got a droopy eyelid you were definitely administered too much botox in an inappropriate muscle that controls your lid. Not to worry though it may look bad or freaky , it's only a temporary thing. though temporary can last up to 4 to5 months but you will notice yourself looking better (normal) by each passing week.

Lastly, "abortion babies" are not legally or scientifically or even physiologically "babies". Abortion EMBRYO material is never ever used for anything. Period. This is like saying that Dr. Frankenstein is still digging up bodies and making monsters. The material used in some cosmetics is AFTERBIRTH. It is the placenta that is no longer needed after an infant is born. Only ANIMAL placenta is used. Do you know anybody who has sold their placenta for cosmetics? Really?

slow down and give this some real thought. LIVE. Nobody is removing tissue from anything that is alive. Period. If they even tried, how many private and public organizations are going after them? next: HUMAN. Pres. Obama has only recently removed the road block to using zygotic cells (pre-embryo) tha were heretofore thrown away when people no longer want to use them to begin a pregnancy.

Why does he deserve it? It's not permanent surgery, the effects wear off. Unlike nearly every other type of plastic surgery.
