Public Enemy is an anomaly, here you have a pro-black socially conscience radical self educating black hip hop group who's original mission was to get the word to black people, but when they looked out in the crowds......it was mostly white

And now today 25 years later a group that was once considered too black, too strong biggest fans are white and European.......who would of thunk it.

I've seen PE rock predominantly white crowds touring with Primus.

I've seen PE rock a predominanlty hispanic crowd of East LA kids.

And i've seen PE rock predominantly black crowds,from the Apollo theatre to Africa.

PE had crossover appeal--and unlike today's artists,for all of the right reasons--so naturally they had a ton of white fans(who are typically the main consumers of music products,including concert tickets.)
