This was ELO's 3rd single - I remember it well. I think this is an AMAZING song! Clever and original yet souful - Jeff Lynne really sings it like he means it. (OK maybe it owes a small debt to 'Heard it Through the Grapevine'.) Then after this (and Mama-ma Belle) ELO just churned out lots of bubblegum crap. Go figger!!!
