  • great video ,great info. i subbed

  • I found if you soak the bottoms in water for a good 15 min, it's a little esyer and you look less roots

  • so should i take the fake flower off of the cactus? and what kind of soil do i need to re-pot it in?

  • lol ' get your fingers in there... and work it ' so rude! then again i suppose some cacti are kinds phallic... ;P

  • And how long do i have to leave the cactus for it to 'heal its wounds'? Do i continue to water it?

  • @MidnightMatthew 2-3 days is probably more than enough time. No need to water during this time, cacti can live for months upon months unpotted and dry roots.

  • Can we just use water to wash off the soil that are stuck to the roots ??

  • @MidnightMatthew Yes you can use water from a garden hose to aid in the removal of soil. If you do so just make sure the roots completely dry out before potting.

  • ah, 10-4 thanks!!

  • If you are talking about the white bowl, that is just a container holding my cactus soil. This parodia scopa will be planted in the 4.5 inch brown pot in the background. Typicaly with cacti you would somewhat under pot them. This one is going from a 3 inch pot to the 4.5 inch pot.

How are your plants messed up? What kind of plants did you purchase?

  • Dude, my plants have been jacked up! Of course I've only bought two, but I never thought to plant them in a bowl that big? Is that ok or should I go with something smaller?
