where is the local authority to come and clear these shanties next to the railway. or are we waiting for the next big disaster to happen before we can act for a short while then when the dust settles forget?
---there are no governmental services in Kibera, and to be honest this is only one problem...there are other dwellings falling off hills killing people all the time. Kibera is a disaster and is not suitable for people to live in but the people have no options and the government is not going to help these people. That is just the reality of the situation. So sad!
