12-25-11 Bless you beloved Charlie!!! Today marks 34 years since you left us, and we need you more than ever! The U.S. exiled you, tried to snuff out your messages of Truth, Love and Peace...but darling Charlie, the evil empire can never stop you!!! Your were, are and always will be, the voice of the poor, oppressed and discarded... the 99%!!! The voice for Peace. You saved the world and your are Angel of the world!

My father says that the hardest he has ever seen me laugh was only once ....and that was when I watching Sir Charlie Chaplins movie when i was 9 yrs old.
Don't know what the hell John Mellencamp is doing on a Chaplin tribute. Anyways, greatest performer of all time. Fuck todays triple threats, this guy along could really do it all. God I wish comedy was like this today.
this man went through such hideous things grew up really poor his dad abandoned him and his mom and brother, she was put into debtor's prison. just a whole lot of crap, and he used that bum character all the way to the bank he was way ahead of his time in film making and comedy. what a genius that america tossed away cus he was one of tons of ppl who were hungry enough to sign some dumb commie petition.......sad
Hi there. ... . Tory from Austin Texas. Singer songwriter musician. Check out my originals and subscribe if you like. Please listen to my own original of The Little Tramp..a tribute to Charlie Chaplin. Namaste.
i think its from one of his home videos which he often did when a famous video came over. he rarely in the early years do a film with out his mustache and derby right to in fact great dictator in 1940 from then on he never did use the tramp outfit again for his last 4pictures.
I think it's a publicity shot with a visitor to his studio because you can see the Chaplin Studios in the background. His whole studio was built like a Tudor-style English village!
sorry i made that video sens a long long time, i dont have the pictures anymore.
But if you want a picture in a video on youtube, you just have to press the button PRINT SCREEN on your keybord, and after that, go on PAINT and do PAST.
Hope I helpt you, thanks for watching and sorry for my bad english!! ;-)
No, actually when that question was put to him he said 'no I do not have that honour I am a humanist'. His half-brother Sydney Chaplin(same mother different father) was.
Charlie Chaplin made many movies, many funny, a few dramatic. Made me laugh countless times with his old black and whites. He was a comic genious. Very nice video, 5 stars, favorited.
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my clip of silent movie star tobacco cards. They include: Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Mary Pickford, Lillian Gish, Tom Mix, Jackie Coogan, Harold Lloyd and many more.

This music really doesn't fit to these images. You should have used Mozart or something.

The soundtrack should have been something like 'Eternally', written by C Chaplin.

i just added a mostache and bowlers hat to 0:45 - looks exactly like tramp! x)
most films today try too hard to be funny.
i wish they were as unique as chaplin's - and as funny...and sad in some cases
x)
p.s. a million cheers for chaplin! "hip hip, hooray. hip hip..."
