  • @ShinyCoyote LOL I thought the exact same things!

  • All I could think was "Dexter"

  • 15:26 SOME ONE YELL RAPE!!!!

  • Barry The Chopper reminds me of Billy Kincaid.

  • Edward should eat that girls pussy

  • Edward's hotness rises 25% when he's hurt and 50% when he cries.

  • SCARIEST EPISODE EVER

  • Drug Rehab commercial before the episode? What are they suggesting about FMA fans?

  • After it was revealed that the serial killer was a butcher, I knew it was Barry the Chopper (I watched Brotherhood first)

  • @KowaiUSO SAME!!!

  • Wow the voice for Berry is the same voice for Jimmy Kudo, Jerry Jewell. It's kind of strange hearing a detective's voice on a killer...except Jerry also voiced Phantom Thief Kid....hmmm...I'M SO CONFLICTED!!!!!

  • i felt weird seeing ed cry like that

  • omigosh im a psychic!!!! whenever i saw something for the first time i predicted exactly how it would turn out and i was right!!!!! the serial killer targeted winrey, that chick was actually the man and the serial killer, and the serial killer was going to put winrey in the fridge truck! although when ed cut the guys hand i thought that crazed look in his eye meant that he wanted to start chopping himself up but that didnt happen and was kinda weird so...

  • @ShinyCoyote Actually, if you watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood...

  • I knew that 'woman' wasn't a woman from the start

  • FFFFF

I loved how Edward kept snatching back the bread pieces XDDDDDDDD

  • 1.I knew that was a man by 'her' voice! 2.Really a big green van +a 12 year old= a...Pedophile! 3.Drag Queen

  • I knew that "lady" was a man! anyone can tell just by how he sounds and his facial structure! That chef must be blind and an idiot.... and why does Ed get knocked out all the damn time?!?!? he should have a concussion by now!

  • NEVER TRUST A MAN IN A BIG GREEN VAN!

  • ......Ed was crying because he was scared?

And plus Barry is his human form....

The 2003 version is so weird, yet entertaining.

  • @Gryphll well, place yourself in his shoes. can you imagine you and your childhood friend being kidnapped by some phyco that wanted to cut you up and you remain perfectly calm. not to mention you're twelve. i would have bawled like a baby

  • Is it bad if I love the part where Ed is getting chased by Barry

  • i know how ed feels.like he cant do all.sad.but at the same time true.'-'

  • I saw this episode a long time ago and forgot about it. But the minute Winry was gone because of that lady, the peices fell into place. i basically went " Wait.... Oh shit man!"

  • I haven't cried since reading Fruits Basket...T_T God, I love this show.

  • wow :D Scary

  • "It's one of those new refrigerated trucks!"

    WINRY NO IT'S A TRAP ;O;

  • I remember waking up at in the middle of the night and not being able to go to sleep, so I turned on the TV and watched this because it was just on. I was like, twelve (16 now) and this freaked me OUT. Hahahaa. But it's what caught my attention and that's the reason I love Fullmetal Alchemist. I forgot how many heart-wrenching moments there were. Though, I do think that Brotherhood plays out a lot better. This one has way too much filler. And yes, I understand the manga wasn't finished then. :)

  • What do y'all think of subtitles. For me it is hard to convey the emotions of the characters without being to understand the words. Ya know? The facial expressions help... a little, I guess.

  • Am I the only one who wanted to cry when Ed did?

  • @SuperCoolkidswagg No, I like, crying right now...QAQ...Nina..</3

  • Anyone else getting in the mood of seeing "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)" after seeing this?

  • @FilmFTW1 yes along with Silence of the Lambs and The Shining

  • D:

    thats so sad!

    19:35-20:40

  • FullMetal Mothaf*cka, jk.

  • Barry's girl voice reminds me of Herbert the Pervert. >.<

  • ED YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO CRY, IT MAKES YOU LESS MANLY

  • @silverstarazor He is a little kid. He's only 12.

  • @Kakorat009 no hes 15.

  • @Kakorat009 im sorry in a latter episode he is 15 :/

  • So was the first episode like a future episode? Because he's better at alchemy and already had the watch thing that he just got in the last episode.

  • @ScarletMoon11415 to be honest the first tw episodes were present and then up until episode 9 or ten it's al telling rose thier story. it's a flashback basically

  • Kyo?

  • berry's voice actor is the same as fruits baskets kyo

  • @TheYaraful He is also Jimmy from Cased Closed, or Detective Conan. Same show but different names. Plus I knew that guy was a drag queen!

  • @TheYaraful and jimmy kudo from case closed.

  • "...The Full metal Alchemist."

Ed:"Sounds heavy, tell them I like the feel of it, I won't let it weigh me down."

Is that pun intended? If so, Haha ha, very funny.

  • Barry the Chopper and Jack the Ripper dislike this

  • Is it just me or does the thumbnail for episode 8 look like Winry's gettin raped?

  • Thumbs up if you actually paused and read the blather on Ed's certificate XD

  • Aren't people suspicious when they see Al, a full hunk of armor, walking around; what do they think he is?

I kinda just started so just wondering why they don't get questioned more often.

  • its funny how Ed is considered the fullmetal alchemist when his brother is actually the one who is all metal...lol

  • Barry is Buffalo Bill!

  • I ruined my homework with tears...

  • I feel so akward everytime he says Neena I look around and say, "yes?" then I realize that he's not actually talking to me X(

  • STRANGER DANGER!

  • As soon as I heard that voice, I was sure as fuck that he was not a girl. lol

  • @fahufd me to man me to

  • i dunno nout u guys. but i'd be just like Ed. Including the totally freaking out at everything. poor ed. he looked scared to death...

  • @Shadowpizzaman Bahaha x'D dude I love you

  • wow, this is the easiest murder mystery ever... doesnt mean im gonna skip the episode though. :]

  • The thumbnail for this episode is so... Er... It just looks wrong. Is that just me?

  • I don't think I've ever been so scared or cried so much at an anime show before...

  • 7:56 ed and al's mom on the train?

  • Me Gusta.

  • I HAVE GOT TO SAY THIS I NEVER GET ADS

  • Does anyone else refresh until you get one without adverts

  • i still don't get why its full metal....?

  • Fuccccking hell this is why I don't read youtube comments. The two top rated "Porno Graffiti sucks." "FMAB sucks." What the fuck is this. I love FMA but I wish the fanbase wasn't a bunch of 12 year olds. mad.

  • thumbnail for this video looks like anal rape. just sayin

  • barry sounds like jin from yuyuhakusho and the bunny from shin chan

  • Why does Ed's voice sound so demonic when he says "save me" at 20:08?

  • Brother... its going to take a lot more than that to kill me... fuckin priceless

  • DAMN IT STOP TRIPPING!!!

  • OH SHIT!!! probably the worst way to go... knocked out by a guy pretending to be a women tsk tsk SWEET SHIT HES BACK UP!!!!

  • we finally learn something about the stone... then we learn about fuckin cars...shity advirtistments....

  • its a shame...but thats no reason to talk that way to a 12 yrold, hes only trying to help and is horribly reminded of his own past...

  • Always trust a man in a big green van!

  • This episode is SEVERLY messed up...but still awesome.

  • I just feel the need to say this:

This, boys and girls, is Barry the motherfucking Chopper. This is true fear, this is true emotion. This is tear-jerking and tugs at your heartstrings. This is something that the original FMA has accomplished throughout its entirety and that FMAB has barely touched on.

    This is Fullmetal Alchemist.

  • @gaaraanime5 Hear hear!!! Well done, nicely put!

  • @KateSchweissmann Thank you :)

  • @gaaraanime5 sure this the orignal anime, but the manga is the orignal story and brotherhood has the original story in it both animes are good, but brotherhood is the true story

  • @SeanHogeOLE Brotherhood is the original story, yes, but this is pretty much just an alternate universe in a way. Brotherhood does have the original FMA story though, that is true.

  • @gaaraanime5 Brotherhood has tear jerking moments and true emotion with a better story not just cause its the original story but because its just better

  • @petplatypus After watching FMAB, I found a grand total of two tear-jerking/deep emotional moments. After watching FMA, I couldn't keep track of how many tear-jerking/deep emotional moments there were due to the sheer multitude of them.

  • @gaaraanime5 ....Are you joking? FMA sucked as a whole compared to FMAB.

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX FNA was the fucking best! Brotherhood isn't that good.

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX You're the one who has to be either joking, or just plain childish. FMAB insulted my intelligence at many points. I love the show, damnit, but it just made me feel dumber at several times. FMA never did that; it respected its audience by creating a mature atmosphere. FMAB broke their hold on maturity throughout the whole series, adding in those stupid little over-animated expressions every episode that must have been aimed at 6 year olds.

  • @gaaraanime5 Insulted your intelligence? You obviously didn't have enough intelligence to understand FMAB. Even though it isn't difficult to follow. I cannot tell you how many plot holes I found in FMA. Plus, the show had no emotion. Oh wait, yes it did. ANGST. Angst is all the emotion it flippin had. I've watched FMA twice, and not one character did I like. Not one. I can't find a single character I don't like in FMAB. Animation's worse? 2003 vs 2009 animation. Nuff said. How's FMA more mature?

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX I understood it full well. The plot isn't what I had problems with; it was the execution. Also, angst, and that's it? Hell no. The series was naturally more engaging because of how well it was executed. Execution is my key complaint here. FMA took itself seriously at most points and didn't dumb itself down. FMAB took itself seriously a lot less. FMA is more mature because it took itself seriously at nearly every point. FMAB crammed stupid "humorous" bits into itself that

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX (cont.) weren't funny in the least. They made me feel like I was watching an American cartoon, and I watch anime to escape that idiocy. I watched FMAB to watch FMAB, not generic bullshit anime "humor". That's actually what I was referring to by my complaints with the animation. The animation action-wise and normally was amazing compared to FMA, but it's the stupid overly animated "humor" that killed it and made it seem like a show for 6 year old children.

  • @gaaraanime5 Okay, it seems your main problem is the humor. FMAB did have generic anime humor, but the really awesome characters and scenes easily made up for that. FMA had the worst humor ever. This is how they play out their comical parts. 1)insert angsty scene. 2)QUICK, ADD COMIC RELIEF! WE NEED COMIC RELIEF AFTER THIS SERIOUS SCENE! Every. damn. scene. FMAB was maybe a little generic, but it wasn't used as comic relief after a serious scene. You still haven't told me how FMA is more "mature"

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX Really? That's how FMAB felt to me. Shoving in inappropriate humor in inappropriate places. And the humor isn't my main problem; like I said, my main problem is the execution overall. The humor does contribute to that, but it's not the only thing. They had music in inappropriate places at times, for example, trying to be serious but only giving the vibe of "shh, this is a serious moment in a kid's show", not an actual effective impact. Another is that the dialogue at many

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX (cont.) points in FMAB was absolutely laughable. They half-assed it quite a lot, it seems. I swear, the dialogue just sucked at points. I never had that problem with FMA, though. Adding all of this together, FMAB's execution wasn't as effective as FMA's. FMA felt like a real, dramatic series all throughout and treated itself as such (making it mature). FMAB felt like a little kid's show with its dumb humor, half-assed dialogue, and childish attempts at several serious moments.

  • @gaaraanime5 Hahaha you're trolling right? FMA felt like it was trying way to hard to be a "deep anime", but in reality it's just melodramatic and psuedo-intellectual bullshit. Not to mention its full of plot-holes and inconsistencies. It was an anime that started way before the manga was finished so the writers wrote themselves in a corner trying to meet deadlines. Also, a character angsting on about how "worthless we are as humans" with brothers playing in the background =/= deep or "mature".

  • @XxFruitsxBasketxX If anything, you're the one that I'm wondering who's trolling or not. Your avatar is a sign. Regardless, trust me, I wouldn't be able to troll this well if I tried.

I keep hearing about these plot-holes...would you care to explain what they are?

And if that's honestly the only thing that you saw in FMA (the "worthless") thing, then you evidently weren't paying attention enough. The conversation between Ed and Roy in episode 48 is a great example of maturity.

  • @gaaraanime5 I totally agree...spinoffs can never really do as well as the original. No matter what.

  • @yayButter To be fair, FMAB wasn't exactly a spin-off. It told the story of the canon manga. Regardless, thank you.

  • @gaaraanime5 Barry is featured in more episodes and plays a larger role in fmab doesn't he?

  • @TheWAW09 Correct. However, FMAB doesn't show him pre-suit of armor, even though he does have a larger impact on the plot in FMAB.

  • @gaaraanime5 ah very true. but this episode is still just for filler :P

  • @TheWAW09 This series is far past the point of filler. Due to it following such a massively different direction than the original storyline, it just becomes a separate series, no longer bound by what is filler and what isn't.

  • @gaaraanime5 This is probably the most emotional and best ep of FMA however FMAB Ep Interlude Party and Reunion ending are two of the ultimate tear jerking I would say. This ep although is amazing as well though.

  • @gaaraanime5 Hear, hear!

  • @Fullmetalpizza LOL i just noticed Kate's post

  • Barry the Chopper, Jack the Ripper, Barry the Chopper, Jack The Ripper...I see where they got the name from -.-

  • omg i want the theme song so bad XD

  • it was so sad how ed was all freak out. he looked so small sitting on that chair

  • am i the only one who thought of "Cupcakes" when we were introduced to barry the chopper?

  • why must i listen to a whole 2 minutes of some goddamn Japanese mariachi band just to watch one of my favorite shows!

  • Comment removed

  • @JJcasts Crap isn't a bad word.....

  • Poor Ed....he thought he was gonna die.......

  • @3:44 er... Porno Graffiti?

  • Man, Barry the chopper was so much funner in brotherhood.

  • @TheCrystalon Yeah, but he's arguably even more awesome in this series. I love him in both.

  • fuhrer? wtf? next they'll be saying HEIL HITLER!

  • I can't believe it, Jimmy Kudo's a serial killer!

  • @BunnyHoppyful You obviously haven't seen the actor's role in Baccano...

  • 21:33 BWAHAHAHAH. Wow. King Bradley likes his animal colors in prose doesn't he? XD

  • Really men cry! ED is a real man! XD

  • THE COMMERCIAL'S ARE CURRUPTING MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It seems these circles can be any size, so why do some people draw massive ones? doesn't that waste time?

  • @TheLycanjake1

The larger the circle, the more energy can be put in. In other words, larger/more powerful transmutation. And alchemists are pretty quick at it.

  • @TheLycanjake1 They can be any size, but it depends on what the Alchemist is trying to create's size.

  • the theme songs are good..its just they dont fit the anime at all! this is a horribly sad anime and the theme songs are all happy...if they were darker it would be perfect

  • I like how they show commercials related to the NFL and about shaving when a lot of the viewers are probably young and most likely don't care about sports.

  • They should of killed him. That Armored guy is so gay...failed.
