  • show the area of the car you want to clay bar.......spray the crap out the car.......show the dirty clay bar.......title the video "how to use a clay bar....?" EPIC FAIL. Maybe one nano second of actual clay bar footage.

  • how to get an aston martin like paul dalton

  • this dude stole my car......

  • I take iron powder

  • are you supposed to use that small clay bar for the whole car? if so wouldn't it get very dirty and just but the contaminants back on to the car?

  • @NITEOWL22LR When it get dirty, just fold it and crushed with your hands few times and it will be ready to use again,it really works great.Have fun with your vehicle.

  • i cant see the car over ur nose

  • I'm disappointed you didn't demonstrate what to do next when one side of the clay bar is full of muck. I was going to give the clay bar a try as my washed surface does feel a bit rough. I don't go as obsessive over the finish as it's only a ford focus and not a supercar, but a clean car looks good. I will probably go for a diluted solution of wash'n'wax to use with the clay bar.

  • can i use soap with water in a spray bottle as lube?

  • @vtec2907 Yes, the car wash soap in a spray bottle would work ok. Just make sure the dilution is such that you get good lubrication and easy glide over the surface.

  • @vtec2907 There are many ways to lube the clay; even soap and water work well. I tried the DoDo Juice Born Slippery Lube. A little bottle goes a long way. Once you use it, you won't use anything else. Cheers.

  • can i use soap with water in a spray bottle as lube?

  • I like to use poorboys spray and wipe for that 1:1 with water

  • Is claybar safe to use and reuse? What is the procedure for claybar after you use it?

  • @TheTylersimpson318 it's safe to re-use up to a point where it becomes "icky"...not sure how to explain it but you will see once you hit that point. If you drop it, THROW IT AWAY. I prefer to do 1 section at a time and buff out with clean MF towel after each section.

  • water with some soap for lubrication in a spray bottle

  • @jaimevlogs why would you use soap............fail

  • @jmb2027 worked for me. so long as you have something to lubricate the clay bar, it's gonna slide, and do it's thing, without marring the surface.

  • What kind of fluid has been used? Does it come with the clay bar?

  • @loggyon He is using soapy water or a quick detailing spray. I clay my cars, but unlike Paul Dalton, I don't dry the car first. I wash, Rinse, then soap up a panel, clay, and rinse (or wash/rinse... to remove residue... then I dry.

  • @NETWizzJbirk Thanks!

  • @loggyon Use a clay lubricant, you can use quick detailers or even quick spray waxes. I prefer to use ONR diluted ratio.

  • @jmb2027 Thanks as well.

  • @jmb2027 Spray wax/ showroom shine works great with my clay bars. i use it mostly for paint oversprays and rail dust orange specks. works nicely.

  • @spudracer13 Yeah they all can be used. But also expensive haha. ONR is very cheap.
