  • Why is it that you'll only find MiG-25 Us (trainer versions) taking off today on youtube?

  • @HeildemKrieg not really.....after going mach 2 the engines were toast......that's expensive. and it still couldnt shoot down an sr71

  • @beergut111 Mach 3.2 was the limit for the MiG-25. But it still posed a threat to normal supersonic bombers.

  • i heard that that if the foxbats radar was switched on at ground level,it could kill rabbits !!!!!

  • God damn!!! If you were just listening and not watching, you could guess it´s a rocket lifting off from the launch pad!! Overwhelming power!

  • пользователь "ahbahpuh" хуесос

  • Very nice, but I like more the original one aka monoseat Foxbat.

  • id love to see one of those take off,i love bold jet noises

  • I´ve noticed this is a MiG-25U with double cockpit: the front one for the student and the back one for the instructor. What a powerful take-off!

  • F-35 has the most powerfull fighter engine now the Mig -25 was built with a far better shape for speed at a cost to the manuverability and low speed ability.

  • f 35 :)))) its a joke - stolen technology from KB Jakovlev - jak 144 - after tests this plain can only fight with beplans :))) - but its handsome plane

  • that was the most poweful jet ever built besides the SR-71 corret me if I'm wrong it still is the fastest "fighter jet" built mach 3!! the russians sure built some awesome power plants!! good video!!

  • The Canadian built Avro Arrow Mk2 was designed to reach mach 2.8 and designed specifically for high speed interception of Russian high altitude bombers, with nuclear air to air missiles.

The plane also had the first internal weapons bay on a fighter aircraft

The first plane built without guns

Also, had one of the most powerful jet engines ever built (this was in the late 50's)

Everything in the plane was designed, and built in Canada, and then 1959 all blue prints + prototypes were destroyed

  • Shit. Couldn't find any info about this stuff.

  • @mattmatt115 what the bullshit :D

  • @mattmatt115 due to Canada sucking US cock meat sandwiches, like seriously, our military totally relies on them due to our corrupt government!!!!

  • @mattmatt115 If the necessary funding had been pumped into the Avro Arrow Program, the Canadian Forces would have likely fielded a very different air force over the last fifty years. In some caces is may be necessary to cut your losses; as possibly true with the Canadian government's seeming "insistence" on the JSF purchase to "protect Canada's airspace" ...a role for which many other, even 4/4.5 generation (and non-VSTOL compromised) aircraft would be far more capable.

  • @mattmatt115 The complete abortion, and seemingly deliberate destruction of any trace and/or evidence of the Arrow program, however, especially at such a late stage of development, was just bizarre. For all practical purposes, Canada had achieved what, at the time of the Arrow, were a "series" of technological milestones. Aborting the Arrow program at such a stage was akin to buying out of a contract, having made 99% of the required investment, merely to save having to pay the remaining 1%.

  • @l2eallllllllyyy I agree with you completely. There were military industrial complex interests at stake in the USA, and they came down with the full weight of "pressure" in the form of im going to guess, money and corporate sponsored trips for Quiefenbaker...

I hope hes truly baking in hell right now that bastard, and all the rest of the sell out bastards who seem to think its necessary to have a for sale sign on Canadian national interests

  • @aandc2005 well yes it was the most powerful jet fighter ever built. Though the record for fastest aircraft in military service is held by the SR-71 but the fastest interceptor was the MiG-25.

My dad served in the Indian Air Force and as per what he told me the Indian Air Force inducted 6 MiG-25s from Russia. But these were all used purely for recce. I met one of its pilots also long ago and he told me that they have actually achieved high altitude level speeds of Mach 3 during sorties

  • @aandc2005 it was proven that the mig-25 could fly faster then the sr-71, but it never did because the engines would explode shortly after surpassing those speeds

  • @Spitfire995 That was never proven because it is still up for debate about how fast the Blackbird could actually fly. We do know that the Blackbird could cruise (not full power) continuously at mach 3.2, where the Foxbat was, I believe, on one occasion able to reach mach 3. But it happened because the fuel pumps malfunctioned and overfueled the engines and destroyed them.

  • @StanleyKu actually that never happened. it reached a speed that i dont remember and scientists said the plane could have went faster but they didnt want to risk it because it MIGHT HAVE destroyed the engines

  • @Spitfire995 What I read was that a radar clocked one at mach 3 and it was later found that the engines where blown from over fueling them. I could be wrong but I have read this from several sources. I don't think it could have ever kept up with the Blackbird which was designed to cruise at mach 3.2. We still don't know what the BB could have achieved at full power.

  • @aandc2005 ...yep still the fastest one M 3.2 and altitude record of 37+ Km ...about 115000+ ft

  • @aandc2005 you are right.

  • @aandc2005 the f22 does over mach 3......the f15 did too
