This doesn't show any of the mechanisms of the harpsichord, just the case and the outside features. Also, I don't think the crowd there really understood what was going on.
As far as I know, you'll need to either heat up or wet the wood whenever you want to curl it into shape. It does need a little patience though, and a good shot of wood glue.
