So, if your soul wishes to experience being a dolphin and doing whatever dolphins do, then you choose a dolphin body to fulfill that work/experience. Dying is no more than the transition of one state of being (embodied) back to our natural state of being - pure energy/soul. Death is a transition, not an end. Did that help?
