  • they say they are only the ones preaching the kingdom

  • If you are born into a Jehovah's Witness family, only pain and extreme effort, facing your fears, or else just giving up and hoping life will give you some little pleasure before you die, will ever release you.

  • Good report, would be better with input from governing body members.

  • There is religious freedom in Britain and America. The JWs have as much right as you Anti-Religious bigots to think and believe what they want. You all need to get a life and start addressing some more serious issues....like North Korea for example.

  • You`re absolutely right. The Watchtower society is the most stupid arrogant lead by the nose by satan organisation there has ever been. The fact remains, those members who willfully stay in this false prophet organisation, after it has been exposed throughout the world, will carry their own blood on their own heads. I say to them, "Get out of her please!

  • Many inaccuracies in these video commentaries.

  • Be more specific.What inaccuracies?

  • Inaccuracies in WFTF - Part 1

1/ Commentator says that JW's have 5 million members "controlled by a secretive brotherhood".

    Subjective & unsubstantiated.

2/ Hollys' mother says that JW's don't celebrate birthdays, etc "for no real reason".

Subjective. The bible provides several sound scriptural reasons.

  • Do you know how the govering body makes its decisions ? How much do you really know about their sessions? Subjective. The bible provides several sound scriptural reasons.Sound reasons prehaps to someone who is thoroughly indoctorinated, but to others, prehaps not.

  • Inaccuracies in WFTF - Part 1

3/ The commentator says about JW children, "conditioning begins a childbirth". Misleading. JW parents no more condition their children than a Man United fan, a vegetarian or a Catholic".

4/ The commentator says the JW's believe that "the Watch Tower Society will inherit the earth". Inaccurate. Terms like "Watch Tower" & "Society" refer to the legal bodies that represent JW interests. The bible says individuals who do Gods will are the ones to be saved.

  • Not inaccurate at all,JW kids grow up with a very polarized view of the world instilled by the constant bombardment of meetings books etc,if other religions do it as well it does not invalidate the point. Jehovah's Witnesses believe they are the only ones doing God's will on earth,so they are the ones who will inherit the earth after Armaggedon, and you know it!

  • Well, you are welcome to your personal opinion but please don't state it as fact. How can you possibly speak for the hundreds of thousands of children who were raised by JW parents? Perhaps you feel disaffected by your own upbringing. If so, I sympathise, but the fact is that most JW children, (like most other children) grow up to be very well balanced inviduals who, upon adulthood, can choose for themselves their standards & beliefs.

  • Since they are taught to distrust absolutely any criticism as,'Designed to deceive,'and with the threat of disfellowshiping and being shunned by family and lifetime friends just for say visiting another church meeting or reading so called apostate material it is definately not so easy.

  • So they say of course you can choose your own standards and beliefs but in reality if you don't choose ours you will be shunned by your family and all your friends as if you have committed a terrible crime. Some choice hey!

  • This is so common now with this satanic organisation but what do you expect when its being led by satan. Thank goodness we are free from the blood of these people. If they choose to stay, their blood is on their own heads.

  • Inaccuracies in WFTF - Part 1

5/ The professor interviewed is shown looking at a website run by a disaffected, former JW. Hardly a reliable source of accurate info' on what JW's do & believe.

6/ The commentator says JW's "who break the rules & refuse to follow organizational guidelines are shunned by their friends & family". Wrong. Individuals are shunned for tuning their back on the dedication vows they previously made to God.

  • To say that just because a website is run by a former member of the JW's makes it unreliable speaks of extreme prejudice toward former members, does it ever occur to you that sometimes people leave a religion with genuine reasons, does that automatically invalidate any concerns about that organization that they might raise.Otherwise anyone who left any religion or other institution and raised issues would have no voice at all.

  • What you say is true, however i was commenting on academic practice. The video calls upon this professor to give authority to the claims being made. The clip deliberatly shows the website intimating that he looks to that website for info. As Youtube & Wikipedia amply demonstrate, the internet is a notoriously un-academic, misleading, source of info' & one that is used with extreme caution in academic research practice.

  • The same would apply when weighing up claims from any source, the free minds website run by Randall Watters a former Bethelite which is the one in question should be evaluated for any claims it makes, its author who I have spoken to on the phone to myself would want you to as well I am sure. But when an individual or organization like the Watchtower claims to speak for God himself as his 'mouthpiece,' this process of critical analysis becomes equaly vital at the very least.

  • This satanic organisation being led by satan. Thank goodness we are free from the blood of these people. If they choose to stay, their blood is on their own heads.

7/ The interviewee, Nigel Ramsden says he was excommunicated after confronting elders with doubts about the Watch Tower Society. Wrong. No problem with asking questions. Shunning happens to unrepentant wrong doers. It takes place after due process.

  • Myself being the individual in question.

I went to the Elders with questions, the elders had no logical answers to my questions but resorted to questioning my motives.etc. I was deemed to have dissasociated myself by saying to just one elder that I wanted to follow Jesus and not an organization, they didnt even give me a judicial commitee which would have been fine ith me but rather announced at the very next meeting I had dissacociated myself from the christian congregation.

  • 'No problem with asking questions...as long as you accept the answers given. If you dont, you will be marked and eventually labeled 'Apostate' and shunned. Your motives are always looked upon as selfish and disruptive, not genuine or sincere, because the label you are given, 'Apostate', tells other JWs what an evil person you are.

  • Very true,I was given no real answers to my questions,It is always pre-presumed the organization is always right, and the problem is with those who do not always fully support this presumption.

  • I agree with chechthefacts, what are the inaccuracies 056f? I studied for yrs with the JW's of the WT, I almost became a baptized member, but through diligent study of reading the Bible and actually checking the facts of the WT, Jesus came bursting through, and the WT crumbled.

  • well done glee2360

  • Hi Musicalpariah, This is so common now with this satanic organisation but what do you expect when its being led by satan. Thank goodness we are free from the blood of these people. If they choose to stay, their blood is on their own heads.

  • My maternal grandfather molested my sister and a number of my cousins. The elders covered it up and the police or other witnesses never knew. He passed away at age 93 as a 'respected brother in good standing" with the congregation. My mother and sister are still blindly devoted witnesses. I freed myself 10 years ago.

  • Hi Musicalpariah, This is so common now with this satanic organisation but what do you expect when its being led by satan. Thank goodness we are free from the blood of these people. If they choose to stay, their blood is on their own heads.

  • It's a shame that each congregation is run by imperfect men that have no training and are very judgmental. As an X JW, I've seen this, thats why I left

  • The totalitarianism in the organization didn't really start until Charles Rutherford came in 1916, The watch tower under Russel just printed literature and study material it waisnt a governing authority back then individual congregations could run themselves autonomously make their own policy independently the Bible students were a association. Pyramidology waisnt solely Russel's idea a few evangelical groups even today still claim belief in it so he waisnt alone in this.

  • I believe they are worse than christendom. You must remember where this group started. Russells parents were occultists. Those of us who know this cult can`t believe the shear audasity of the remaining members without any self respect continue to preach these lies. It really is a joke, a sad one. The BBC made a fantastic programme, which really exposed them from top to bottom. After all this information, if any member continues with this group, they have hardened their own hearts,

  • David, it's very hard to deal with JWs, because you mustn't ignite their martyr complex. Don't judge the mere believers from that cult, because they are just God-fearing hard-working people who are held as hostages by a totalitarian organization who controls them by a twisted, decieptful bible translation which corrupts the word of God. Our efforts must focus on exposing the Watchtower Society. If done, everything else will follow.

  • Hi Fazedo, I do appreciate what your saying but i am convinced with the witnesses i have spoken to in the past, that they know their organisation is wrong, but they choose to stay, they willfully disobey the bible commands.

  • DAVIDFROST123, Were you ever a witness because I don't believe they know they are wrong. I believe they know SOMETHING is wrong but are too programmed to question the organization. They are trained to believe the sadness and constant depression they feel are the result of being tried by Satan. If they just hang in there during these "last days of tribulation" that god will soon deliver them. They haven't a clue until they're out how much they've been abused.

  • Hi Musicalpariah, I was a witness for nearly 20 years, you will see me in the Witnesses for the Prosecution video. I knew loads of witnesses who used to go out drinking and smoking secretly, even having sex with young girls in our village and going to nightclubs regularly. When i questioned them, they said as long as the elders did`nt catch us, this is a fact.

  • i even new one minister servant, who is now an elder, who was quite clear about his feelings that the society is wrong but they are not the worst. So i think you should wake up and smell the coffee, in a loving way.

  • I've always heard that not knowing one is wrong is just called 'ignorance', and that knowing one is wrong is justly called 'stupidity'. I guess you're right, then. There's no boundaries to human stupidity, and if there were, the Watchtower Society would have broken them already.

  • Hi Fazedor, You`re absolutely right. The Watchtower society is the most stupid arrogant lead by the nose by satan organisation there has ever been. The fact remains, those members who willfully stay in this false prophet organisation, after it has been exposed throughout the world, will carry their own blood on their own heads. I say to them, "Get out of her please!

  • musicalpariah: You are so correct. I was a JW and when I saw things happen that were wrong, I felt I had no right to question their authority. Its like a snake hypnotizing a mouse. The mouse just stands there paralyzed. Once the mouse snaps out of its hypnotic state, it's too late.

  • Great video! Thanks, it shows that this has been a long standing and known problem in the congregations, and ignored and covered up for just as long. They are no better or worse than the rest of 'christendom' and if they would understand that-they wouldn't be so self-righteous as a group.
