I LOVE that Bill also creates English versions of *most of* TH's songs for those of us Aliens who aren't German :'-( -- but I don't really understand why the meanings of some of them are so different....

In this case, for instance, you've got "Träumer" ("Dreamers") vs. "Love & Death", in which there's no mention of dreaming! Not that I'm complaining -- I'm starting to learn a few songs in German and their messages, and I LOVE them -- but I'm just curious why Bill chose to do that.

@jeneddicks2346 simple cause: A text has to sound well... word's in german and english often don't have the same amount of syllabels and don't sound the same way (accentuation). I translated songs from english to swiss bernese german (which is in some ways nearer to english than high german), but if you wan't to have a near sense translation which sounds good, too, it's more than hard work! So, it's easier to have a totally different text on the same melody...
