@prosseura its not just brains, you have to have the drive... but yeah, while formal education makes you learn alot of things, you can easily learn everything on your own.... if you have the drive.

however, Bill when the private business way... in many avenues in society, they will actualy close the door in your face if you don't have degrees.... oddly, sometimes, those darn degrees are worth more than what you are able to accomplish on the ground.

another error is suggesting that first came IBM PC, then competitors followed.... IBM was LATE in the game, Commodore PET, Apple II, TRS-80, Attari, Texas Instrument TI99/4 (not the 4A) etc. etc... predate the IBM PC by several years.... and they all ran microsoft Basic, or some version of it....

There seems to be an error in this documentary, it seems to suggest that what was put on IBM PC, namely, Ms DOS, was then put on all other competitor machines and then they show a photo full of Apple, Commodore, TRS, computers, while all these run off Microsoft Basic, it is rather the later generation of computers copied from the IBM-PC (clones, Compaq being the first among them) that Bill made huge money, keeping Ms-DOS and licensing it to all those PC clones.
