I don't think we needed Mascherano. Busquets is quite solid, understands Barca system of pass, offer, receive, and he does just that no more, no less.
Masch in my opinion does not quite fit into Barca's finesse. He's had three unconvincing permormances so far. Adriano, on the other hands, is a bit too enthusiastic, and runs too much. That's why Pep prefers Maxwell.
I would have saved the money for Cesc in two years' time.
