Would someone PLEASE upload from the cd SLEIGH RIDE with Keith Lockhart, WINTER WEATHER MEDLEY (I've got my love to keep me warm, I love the winter weather, Baby it's cold outside) IT IS THE BEST!
Yes, Arthur's original without the lyrics is the best, especially when you hear it live. The lyrics are fun but I don't think in this setting. And NO, don't clap to it!
@TechRyan88 nope. I go absolutely crazy whenever I hear the instrumental. 1:17-1:33 is my favorite part, especially as a Trombone player. Cut the vocalists out and let them shine!
@Snarician I guess you don't understand that it is such an uplifting song at this time of year that it's infectious & people have a tendency to clap to such a song. Too bad you felt it necessary to use foul language regarding such a positive song!
The clapping masks all the hard work the orchestra put in to make it happen. Anybody who has ever played an instrument understands where Snarician is coming from.
Bring back John Williams!!!!!

I wish I could go back. I loved this immensely, I felt like a child again. I'd give anything to be there again with my date Kurt!

trumpets rule, chorus doesn't. not to be mean but the instrumental is better. what is with the churus going "ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching"?

I fucking hate when the audience claps to the piece. Especially on concert pieces.

@Snarician Especially when they clap faster than the orchestra is playing.

@schlockading You betcha. And being a percussionist, I loathe more than any other musician can fathom.

@eburger2 From a musician's standpoint, it's annoying. Mostly because the average audience doesn't know what a tempo is.
