The Cops did the right thing. People forget they are EMPOWERED to use whatever force is necessary to stop a potential threat to the PUBLIC (that's uh, you and me folks) and ergo, the use of potentially deadly force. He tried 3 layers/methods to stop him first, hands, spray, snap baton, and when the clown tried to get a passing motorist he received a few rounds for his efforts.

@jeries29 I agree with you about him trying to get into another car was what was happening, but I don't think shooting someone in that situation is the right use of force in that situation. Two officers vs. a drunk guy and they have to shoot him? Thought IDK the whole situation, I would bet that they had Tasers and could have handled the situation better.
