  • This does not sound right, you are missing a few main points but it is pretty good.

  • 4:04, Ukraine didn`t become German puppet! It was faught over and then ended up being split into two main pieces. The Soviet part of Ukraine later became part of Ussr and the west part of ukraine became part of Poland! Smaller regions were taken by czechoslovakia and Romania! And 5:28-5:34, why is there only poverty in communist nations shown, what about China! In 5:45 and so on, why is it said that Putin is asked to step down, the majority of Russia likes him and he is doing find.

  • No mention of Stalin and his menacing, criminal, thuggery in ruling The USSR responsible for murdering an estimated 3-20 million people?

  • Fiction. Regurgitated nonsense.

  • OMG THIS IS AWESOME, I mean I also dont agree that communism is a bad idea. But still you made it fun and really understood it. thanks

  • You have much more to learn before you can trash the soviets like this. Communism is a great idea, The USSR collapsed because in the 80's massive orders to rebuild Europe were no longer necessary, because eastern Europe rebuilt about 10 years faster than western Europe. There weren't enough consumer good to fill the void of heavy industry and the economy stagnated. Had the economy introduced more consumer goods the USSR would be here today. It dissolved on December 31, 1991 by the way...

  • @TheSovietSuperpower Some people still have a fond affection for Nazism too, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

The Soviet Union collapsed because it ran out of money to pay off the thugs it depended upon. Without loyal goons to keep the people sullen and enslaved, they were unable to maintain order - especially amongst the Ukrainians, who were still sore about that Holodomor genocide the Bolsheviks had orchestrated.

What's amazing is that these criminals remained in power so long.

  • @Kingme144 I see that you are an Anarchist. I used to be Anarchist too and I used to think of the Russian Revolution the same way as you. Until I began looking further at the Russian Revolution, I realized that I was wrong, Read some Victor Serge. Yes the Russian Revolution was extremely flawed, but you need to know who the Bolsheviks were, what their aims were, then watch how it all changes after the revolution. Learn about the Russian Left Communists, Read Rosa Luxemburg's analysis of the Oct

  • @Kingme144 "Learn your history" I would advise you to do the same. True the idea of the Soviet was created during the failed 1905 revolution, False that the Bolsheviks opposed the soviets. Also it is absurd and outright False to say that Workers and Peasants did not make up the majority of the party. The Soviets were operated by the working class and were a genius way of creating a Worker's Republic, of directly elected, responsible, and instantly revocable delegate who would run the governm

  • there is no such thing as a bad idea in philosophy

  • Wrong info.

  • The Russian revolution sadly degenerated in the 1920s into a state capitalist dictatorship. Then Stalin seized power and the revolution went from comatose to dead. If the German Revolution, the Hungarian Revolution, and the international revolution happened things would have been much better

  • @4500jas I think that this kind of collapse might be typical of communist revolutions thats why I converted to communist anarchy

  • You don't seem to understand the soviets (Russian for worker's councils) and what the Russian revolution was. Also you should understand that virtually all workers and poor peasants were Bolsheviks. It is misunderstood that the Bolsheviks were academia party elites that seized power. The soviet Workers councils were in charge. Learn Marxism, Learn of the worker's councils and you will understand the Russian Revolution.

  • @4500jas wrong the Bolsheviks lead many (definitely not most) the peasants and proletariat but they were not members of the party. the soviets were councils set up after the 1905 revolution which created the Duma, many came over to Bolshevik support after the failure of the first revolution of 1917. learn your history before correcting others

  • your kinda a cunt

  • You can't teach a dummie the Russian Revolution. That's what many American schools don't realize. Russian Revolution has so much to teach, watch Animal Farm. That's just a start, read on Leon Trotsky, Stalin, etc. Even read on Capitalist countries, and what happens in them. The Russian Revolution opens so many doors it's fucking amazing. If you study it, it creates INTEREST, and dummies don't have INTEREST.

    That's just my opinion

  • @chris96kalonji reading animal farm is far better as well as Orwell's other literature but i agree with what you are saying I was lucky enough to be able to spend my hole year is history class studying it (we had three topics to study but all the assessments can be about any topic you like so I just did that, my teacher really doesn't like me) and id spent allot of time the previous year studying the Cuban revolution which gave me a decent background knowledge

  • @kingme144 Even though Trotsky wasn't very popular because of his strictness. I still have respect for any man who is willing to openly speak about their beliefs at the change of being persecuted. Even though the CCCP was an opening to Communism, doesn't mean that's where it ends. They teach that Communism very narrowly, not realizing that it's more of an Economic system. A person with a head understands Economic systems effect the Social system. My dream is to lead the US Revolution, and I will

  • Unsolicited Constructive Criticism not on the subject matter but only on your pronuciation. You need to speak more slowly and enunciate. You tend to trail off on long sentences.

    Great work. Very impressive.

  • It was helpful, but..... 'in soviet Russia burger bites you!'(2:40) was a bit surprising part of the project :P

  • i would have given you an A, you hit all the important concepts!

  • this is so helpful! late night studying for a history mid-term 2moro :[

  • That was quite excellent.

  • thank you so much! this really helped me

  • thanks, helped alot for a story we had to write on this for ap world.
