To my ears, your wonderful instrument sounds high pitched. While a Classical (Spanish?) guitar had the low, mellow sound.
It's amazing that in this day and age, everybody ()!) is developing new type instruments! Even an 8-string guitar with a thicker bridge (neck) and held like a cello. Amazing and wonderful!
@EarthaKit2 Thanks for your interest .,.. this was truly an experiment, first, What is the sound of a spanish guitar too your ear? as far as this instrument was concerned I was attempting to build a baroque guitar, but a dismal failure.. too my ear .. !!!
@ekjorlien thanks, well its back on the bench in pieces, I wasn't happy at all with the
sound, I tried to make it into a mandocello, but it flung itself off a peghook in the workshop,( unable to endure my torture) and since I had mechnical tuners the head stock, it snapped off..... unsure of its future...
thanks for your kind comment, my next build is going to be more patient, and studied with a proper plan!!!!
thanks! well it is a start at least, I had been wanting to build for years, and for the early music instruments, it is about the only way I'll be able to access them...

I don't know anything about string instruments, but I have a question:
It seems you have a high tension, so the pitch is higher.
If you have less tension, lower chords, will that sound like a Spanish guitar?
