No. Gameplayers specifically mentioned a Sonic game coming to 32X. Actually, now that I think of it, yes Sonic X-treme was a game that was planned for 32X, then scrapped because they wanted it on Saturn instead. Then that was scrapped.

Did you know that you can download Sonic X-treme and play it on PC with an emulator? It got leaked.

Sonic jam is the best Sonic compilation ever,it has the definitive versions of all the Sega MegaDrive Sonic games,especially Sonic 1,it dosent have that slowdown with the controll issues and the music has its faster correct speed,and you can use the SpinDash,even the MegaDrive version didnt do that,as it was introduced in Sonic 2

You right that Gems is mostly for the collectors but why would you buy a collection if you not a collector at heart. I can't see people buying Mega Collection to play the games for the first time. It can happen but it's pretty strange.

@Sobol14 Ironically Mega Collection is what got me into collecting SEGA paraphernalia and it's the first place I played any Genesis games besides 1 (although I was like 4 so I don't remember it now). But I totally see your point; I think my situation glorified the whole thing, since looking back it's not as interesting as Gems. If only they could get Chaotix and SegaSonic in a compilation together... There's an interesting thought.

@beam0071 It depends on what you want from a collection. For me, it's not only a package of good games but also some bonuses, pictures and so on. Unfortunately, Mega Collection + is lacking in that. Gems Collection on the other hand is just golden. Rare games that difficult to play otherwise, rare pictures, some good remixes and demos of the various games final bosses? That's just priceless if you like rare and somewhat nostalgic stuff.

But you free to have your own opinion =)

@Sobol14 Naw, Sonic Jam on the SEGA SATURN is the best collection, all the titles on that were perfect ports of the NTSC originals, plus the 'Sonic world' front far out stripped everything that the Gems collection offered.

@segano1 I played Jam on Saturn and it's a mess. Sure, Sonic World is cool and all with all the 3D going, but there isn't much other than that. Sure, bonus videos and some information are cool, but they're not cooler than museum from Gems.

Also, classic games are glitchy as hell, slowdowns, crappy controls. No, thanks.

Sonic World could have actually been a proper game. Instead of releasing a compilation, they could have made a classic. Looking at this, you can see it has potential. It's a typical good idea that's faded. Sega have a habit of this.

I shouldn't have given this game away. This is the only Sonic Compilation game with an original game with it. It is also the best Sonic Comp game out there. NO SLOW DOWNS!!!! YOU HEAR THAT SEGA? Time trials, old videos, commercials, all that good stuff. When are you gonna add that stuff to the PS2 version?
