sifurahsun, i studied wc under D cheung and WC from 1982 became instructor in Jan 1987 had 14 full contact fights 12by KO one 8 sec KO at campberwell TH, I have studied Yip man he`s movements etc and have realized that wc has changed many of the techs to suit westerners. I have also met eddie Amin in EU has a different approach. Have done some modification myself to make WC more effective close in. I'm so sick of hearing some armchair martial artist say something like"his back foot was 1/32 of an inch out of place"or some other similar crap.Can everyone please get over themselves!?Who cares if this version of Wing Chun is not yours or if your sifu teaches a different version of Siu-lim-tao.Can't you just watch and appreciate another version of Wing Chun and enjoy it for what it is?They are ALL valid, teach useful martial skills and,are a part of the rich heritage of Chinese martial arts.
This looks a lot like William Cheungs style wing chun or as they call it in chine fake wing chun, He was the only pupil of Yip mans to not learn his lesson properly. The foot work is very incorrect and the wu sao is always to high.

I was wondering about the footwork, because it appears from the camera angle, that you're advancing in what looks like a backward-leaning stance...it also appears that your feet are set very far apart - not something that I would associate with Wing Chun. What are your thoughts on this?
