There should be one Christianity, not based in creeds created by men defining who God is, but by directly knowledge of who He is and what he expects for us today. If Evangelicals were prophets what they write is scripture. We do consider what our prophets write scripture. They do recite the Nicene Creed, a non biblical document that "explains" the nature of the trinity. It is only the LDS and the Jehovah witness that don't. So, try again. The Bible exists because modern prophets at their time spoke the word of God, recorded it, and after they were killed by people who did not believe in prophets, centuries later, their writings were considered scripture.
