This game looks WAY too cartoony. Not that the first one was realistic, but it had a creepy charm to it that this game just doesn't seem to replicate. I'm sure, gameplay wise, that it will be similar or even better, but the unique atmosphere of the first one is gone.

@MrHalo304ever Because it'd only be really playable with gamecube and classic controller. Luigi's mansion seems simple in retrospect, but the controls were actually very complex and too much for the Wiimote + Nunchuck to handle. Although...pointing at the screen to point the vacuum may be a cool idea.

But can you imagine all the waggle they'd have you do? "The harder you shake the more suction the vacuum will have!"

When I said what ever I said in the first comment, I ment in a way that the ghosts you see in the game just (to me) don't fit with the Mario world, and it defies all logic why they wouldn't even use boo's, they're the ghost icon in Mario.
