  • NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THIS SANTANA MOTHERFUCKER. IT SHOULD OF BEEN SOMEONE BETTER TO DEFEAT TAKER. WHY DON'T WE HEAR ABOUT THIS GUY NOW? HMMM? CAUSE HE FUCKIN' SUCKED AND ISN'T MEMORABLE, THAT'S WHY. STOP BEING FANS OF SHITTY ASS NO-NAME WRESTLERS.

  • Comment removed

  • Don't know who this guy is, which is why he shouldn't of been the first to defeat Undertaker. Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway. This guy will always be known as a TURD and Undertaker will always be the UNDERTAKER

  • @deanml116 You don't who "That guy" is?! "That guy" is Tito Santana, former Intercontinental Champ, Tag Team Champ, King of the Ring winner, Hall of Famer and one of the most popular stars in WWF for years, the fact you don't even know that just shows you to be one of many ignorant moron kids that are ruining wrestling nowadays.

  • @deanml116 "I'M 13 AND I DON'T KNOW THIS WRESTLER, THEREFORE HE SUCKS HERPA DERP GO JOHN CENA DERRRRRRRRRRRP DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP"

  • @SashaNein YEP! I'M 13. GOOD CALL JACKASS

  • @deanml116 I love it when young WWE marks advertise their own ignorance.

  • @peterp21 Wrong again. Another one added to the list.

  • Santana was no jobber.

  • Santana kicked his fucking ass. The Johnny Cash-Night of the Living Dead wannabe don't want people to know he's had his ass handed to him many times. Too bad. Ha, ha, ha! VIVA SANTANA!

  • Even though all this matches are pre arranged, there is no way Tito would beat the Undertaker if it wasnt to please this spanish crowd,Taker was head and shoulders ahead of Santana both as a wrestler and in popularity,I always considered him a second tier wrestler despite his successful stint in strike force but once he went solo he became just a jobber, but this is entertainment and you have to please everyone if you want your business to thrive.

  • You'd think Undertaker would be the one no-selling those Piledrivers. It's really the commentators...

  • 2:00 ...If only WWE Fans did that today ._.

  • You have GOT ot be kidding me. I understand they're in front of a capacity crowd in Mexico, but TITO SANTANA pinning the Undertaker is like Hornswaggle pinning Brock Lesnar. There is no way in hell Santana would have lasted two minutes against the Undertaker under any other setting. Santana was a JOBBER after Strike Force disbanded and seeing him win this match is absolutely ludicrous. It's like something you'd see in today's WWE.

  • @Ashleigh18644 ITS not mexico its barcelona,ITS EUROPE,...at least santana got style, but always suffered from tricks...

  • @Ashleigh18644 are you seriously comparing Tito Santana to Hornswaggle?

  • @Ashleigh18644 You are insane; Tito was a leading star in WWF for years before the Taker appeared.

  • cheatin beaner

  • IRON SHEIK

  • Merced Solis (born May 10, 1953) better known by his ring name Tito Santana. Math teacher and special event exibition wrestler, 2011.

  • Actually Hogan beat Taker first at a TV taping in Worcester,MA, I think it's on the Coliseum Video release of Hulkamania 6.

  • Man! Not only was tito the first to pin him, but that was the most valiant damn thing I think I may have ever seen!!! I liked this tito, way better than the el matador gimmick he used.

  • if triple h can't do it, tito can be the undertaker.

  • this undertaker would fuck everyone in todays wrestling wwe/tna

    thunbs up if you agree

  • What a crazy match, and helluva spot for Sanatana battling out of the bodybag.

  • wow really undertaker lost to this beaner and this stupid beaner cheated and he is a bad wrestler he did the same moves like 4 times in a row

  • @TheBearRamage Your comment has just proved to everyone how little you know about wrestling.

  • @Luminous72 lol

  • Chico cheated.

  • Props to Taker for putting Santana over! Warrior could never do that!

  • Wasn't this in Spain, not Mexico?

  • It was:

    WWF @ Barcelona, Spain - Palau Sant Jordi - October 5, 1991 (19,000)

    Televised on Tele5

Main Event: Tito Santana pinned the Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) at 13:53 after escaping from the bodybag, hitting three piledrivers, stealing the urn from Bearer, and hitting Taker with it; after the bout, Santana was interviewed at ringside.

  • Huge pop. Nobody gets excited like that anymore not even for a title change.

  • ERM...the move is totally din hit = =

  • Tito was born in Texas, not Mexico. Therefore making him Mexican American.

  • Tito only jobbed towards the end of his WWF career, he was a former tag and IC champ. Probably one of the best tag team wrestlers of the 80s too. If the WWF would have expanded into Mexico instead of Canada he would have gotten the push that Bret Hart got, World title and all. Just another example of politics in wrestling and another reason to blame Vince for ruining wrestling. Tito was a big draw when Vince started expanding, he should have never had to job on his way out. VKM is an idiot!!!!

  • ARRIVA TITO ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED WRESTLERS OF ALL TIME AT LEAST HE GOT INTO THE HOF

  • how the fuck is the undertakers first loss not in english...

  • When fighting in ROME ..please the Roman.

  • Im shocked that Vince would allow an oldie like Tito to even come close to a win againts one of his bread and butters like the Undertaker... good job

  • tito santanas dad was mexican and his mom was samoan...so he was not a full blooded mexican...hes a samexican as they would consider

  • All I can say is did not beat him clean but not taking nothing from tito. Course vince does not acknowledge this on tv, probally 1 of tito's biggest victories. Very good match accept for the botch piledriver that almost broke takers neck.

  • Mexican commentating sounds so unenthusiastic and bland.

  • @RyanIsOffended First of all, this is not "Mexican commentating" but a Spanish announcing from Spain. Secondly, the commentary was added in post production, which explains why they may sound less than enthusiastic.

  • @filthiestfish

My mistake. I know it's the Spanish language, but assumed it was done in Mexico, for some reason. And that explains how boring it is. Fucker.

  • @RyanIsOffended Yeah, the event was broadcast live on Spanish tv, so someone out there may have the live announcing of the match, but they then decided to reair the match on their weekly broadcast a bit later on, and remade the commentary without pretending they were going back in time, like for example, on a WWE dvd you see Michael Cole and Bret Hart redoing the commentary for a classic match, and going over what their thoughts were at the time. Its boring, sorry.

  • @filthiestfish

Great example. Never even thought of that way. It is pretty hard to recapture the excitement compared to live. I just assumed the guy was falling asleep during the broadcast.

  • I don't know how can any one be proud of this cheater

beating someone by a tool = a weak noooooooooooob

  • The Undertaker is "el Enterrador" in spanish? Lol nice :D

  • It Happened In Spain n Undertaker Was Asked To Loose This Match Since Tito Was A Fan Favorite In Spain That Time n It Was Just A House Show Yet Televised

  • Major props to Tito for his win over Taker. He clubbed him with the urn. That's the price you pay for getting foreign objects in the ring.

  • I'm shocked! Tito! you sly Mexican dog you! First you're born in Texas, and pretend to be Mexican, then you become the first superstar to beat Taker! Arrriba!

  • Interesting! I've always thought it was Hogan in that one PPV. But SANTANA???? Weird!

  • Yeah, OK! Gotta let Mexico Man win because it's in his crib. Lame!

  • @FrankenFraud

Mexico Man? Go to your Klan meeting dumbass.

  • @Lannis31 Okay, I'll see you there. I'll just look for the loser with the shaved head & the Swastika tattoo on the side of his melon.

  • wow never knew they had this match.. and it was his officially his first ever defeat as the undertaker??

  • All I understood was Uno, Dos Tres.

  • WOW!! I have been watching wrestling for 30 years and I never knew Tito beat undertaker cleanly before!! AWESOME!

  • @Nx76 Well he used the urn to knock him out so it's debatable as to whether it was clean, note however that early in the match he inflicted a fair amount of pain to Taker who was supposed to be able to block pain at the time

  • @Nx76

Cleanly? how could you say that? the blind is able to see that Santana used the Urn,I repeat : he used the URN,same scenario that used against the Ultimate Warrior :Taker attempted to put him in plastic bag,the Warrior resists, then he hit taker by the Urn and put him in the plastic bag.

If this was a (REAL) fight, taker would eat this santana alive without any doubt.

  • @naifgobory

He beat him clean, live with it mark.

  • @Lannis31

He hit Taker by the URN,therefore it can't be a clean victory.

  • @naifgobory against Taker, a win is a win! Even Hogan had to get a cheapey aginst him!

  • @GrandFunker

Yeah that's why, in the end, Hogan sucks lol..

  • thats probably the biggest pop Tito ever got!!

  • WOW. I NEVER KNEW that Tito Santana defeated The Undertaker. Was the decision reversed or something? LOL cuz the video ended pretty quick after the pinfall.

  • @TrueTalkTV

No it wasn't reversed. In fact there used to be a full video of this on Youtube, after the match Tito was interviewed at ringside in Spanish.

  • Damn it takes alot of strength to piledrive Mark Callaway (Undertaker) Not once, but THREE times!

  • how come Undertaker got white face all the time he wrestling at that time? it was not faded out at all by sweat.

  • Texas is in the United States, which makes Santana AMERICAN, the match took place in Bacelona Spain, which is neither in Texas OR Mexico, so he wasn't put over because it was his home country. True geniuses around here.

  • @bcushing I'm not trying to argue with your point, but with Tito being of Latino heritage in a generalized sense, the fact that the match didn't take place in his home country of Mexico is really just a technicality. He was still put over in a Hispanic country.

  • @bcushing Um I know alot of Mexicans who were born in America. It doesnt make them American.

  • This is obviously a house show or some live event...cuz it was neve talked about on TV, as far as WWE was concerned, he was still undefeated till Tuesday in Texas. Kinda interesting that Taker's first reign lasted 2 days and Kane's lasted one. Thank God Kane got another World title, FINALLY!! Taker may return at SummerSlam.

  • I would've never thought that Tito would defeat the undertaker, thought it would be Hogan or Ultimate Warrior. It's too bad the WWF didn't make Tito & Rick Martel wrestle more. They were awesome to watch as Strike Force. Seems after that split, both Martel & Tito started to become match losers. Maybe it's a trend when wrestlers are on their way out?!

  • kindof hard to piledrive someone over 300 pounds without botching.

  • I always though undertakers first loss was to Hulk Hogan

  • Damn, the spanish announcers don't ever seem to get excited. After all the other big names that lost to Taker. Tito won and their like "oh well."

  • Mullet undertaker was damn near invincible.

  • Oh man I learned something

  • Santana was born in Palermo (Sicily)

  • what a sham

  • evn i couldve defeatedd taker like that

  • @zarathos81 he was undefeated on "TV"...I seen sid pin him at a house show here in toledo somewhere in between summerslam and survivor series when they were feuding...back then if it wasn't on tv then it never happened...

Like when the rockers beat the hart foundation for the belts on SNME and they changed their mind and never aired the episode

  • so what if he was born in texas, he is still a mexican u idiot.

  • @vaea46 so we can considerate texas a part of mexico ,isnt it?

  • @FULANODETAL - im talking about Tito Santana u azz not the place - what a dumb azz

  • @vaea46 it's spelled 'ass'

  • @FULANODETAL - u a azz - im talking about nationality - what his father was not the location or the state -

  • @FULANODETAL Hes still mexican he has mexican parents not american you dumbass

  • @FULANODETAL

You can consider Texas anyting want to consider it dumbass the point is the guy is of Mexican descent, what does living in Texas have to do with anything? Why do you think they call people African-American, Japanese-American, or Mexican-American? Because being in Texas doesn't change their heritage idiot.

  • @FULANODETAL Maybe its them BURRITOS that drove him mexican? lol

  • @FULANODETAL "considerate" that's like something George Bush would say :P

  • @FULANODETAL

No i think he means you can be mexican cause of your parents heritage etc but born in Texas.

Even a chinese born in Texas would be "Chinese" and not "American"..

  • @FULANODETAL considerate? LOL someones been skipping ESL classes!

  • @vaea46

  • The Undertaker was undefeated for his first year in the WWF. His first defeat was at the hands of Hulk Hogan at the Tuesday In Texas PPV which followed the 1991 Survivor Series.

That PPV also saw a reinstated Randy Savage fight Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

  • This match was from Spain

  • stop at 1:59 and look at the man in the crowd, scary!

  • Tito wasn't a jobber until they added "The Matador" to his name.

  • tito santana may not have been a top card wrestler but he certainly wasn't a borderline jobber! he was about the same rank as ricky steamboat or dino bravo.

  • @thehoff1982

too true. I remember when he was a major force in the Intercontinental championship.

  • pop at 2:00 is pretty strong

  • wow! A borderline jobber beats the Undertaker!

  • bla bla tito used his speed (part 1 comment) he didn't win because of his damn speed but he cheated.. but then again it was better for the story line or whatever.. it's just like mysterio vs kane remember may 19 mysterio had no chance..

  • Was this in Mexico?

  • WOW. Way to go Tito Santana... I never knew this took place. He definately "urned" that win!

  • i see what you did there! :)

  • @tartanbasketball Wow, you must have looked at Bobby the Brains jokebook on that one.

  • @tartanbasketball HAHA that was smooth sir! lol

  • @tartanbasketball lol... you're shameless for that pun, but i think shameless works for you. well done.

  • @tartanbasketball lol, that is terrible but genius!

  • You have to love wrestling and the 'regional' job. Makes you wonder why they insisted on keeping Santana a 'jobber to the stars'. He was a solid wrestler and had a long face history with the fans.

  • Agreed, I count Tito as one of the ten best wrestlers to have never won a World championship.

  • wow.

  • I don't what that was at 1:08....where was that supposed to hurt? Lol...the first one was ouch though

  • That is a rare match. Anyone have that on dvd?

  • lol that was one of the weakest piledrivers ive ever seen

  • tito should challenge taker at mania not hbk again....lol...ariba ariba

  • that would actually be interesting!

  • wow!! I never knew that... goTito!!

  • as undertaker ever lost a fair mach 123

  • chico santana should be a hall of famer first person to cause taker a loss even with the ern :)

  • ive never heard of chico santana but Tito here looks pretty deserving

  • he sure is.

  • apparently according to wikipedia hes been in since 2004 lol

  • so his already hall of fame? tino santana?

  • yeh

  • Jessie the Body use to call him "Chico"

  • sharpen that knife bud, his name is Tito

  • yeah man...the "ariba man". lol that what hogan called him during the 1990 survivor seriesgrand finale :)

  • i wonder if they will show this entire event on wwe 24/7 old school big ones

  • The Undertakers first defeat came at the hands of TITO SANTANA???????? Awesome!!!!

  • Yeah, with the help of the ern.

  • Oh I know but a wins a win.

  • That is true..

  • Taker should bodybag people again

  • @b8zy he might do it again he just came from under the ring and pulled kane in there like he used to do when he was ministry

  • what a huge upset

  • How is it that Tito Santana can hurt the Undertaker, but Ultimate Warrior can't?

  • This was probably in Mexico. It wasn't uncommon for "international" stars to be put over bigger stars in their home country. Bulldog was put over big time in England. When he lost the IC Title in 1997 to Michaels there, there was a near riot.

  • no ,it was in barcelona spain,,in 1991...

  • that was 1992

  • Euro title, not IC, but you're correct.

  • this was not in mexico. and when bulldog lost to michaels there was a near riot because it was beyond controversial, remember that? i hated that match.

  • @WrestlingBeltworld - Tito had to clock him with the urn anyway to win - and Taker did the signature sit up right after - so Taker would still look strong if any US fans happened to see this match and to stay on the storyline of Taker being an unbeatable monster heel.

In those days it was a rare treat to see babyfaces cheating to win - and that was the only way heel Taker could be beaten!

  • @TRieper47

And for a short time, face Taker! We all remember what Giant Gonzales had to do to get him to stay down at WM9.

  • @WrestlingBeltworld true dat. hogan jobbed for the fuckin mountie in wcw at a house show in montreal.

  • @WrestlingBeltworld You mean when he lost the European title there. Bulldog lost the I-C on a SNME in the States.

  • This is nothing compared to when Kama pinned him clean in a tag match on Raw around '97 I believe

  • NULLISSIME VIVE UNDERTAKER

  • dont think anyone even consider this as a match -_-

  • his first defeat was versus Hulk Hogan -_-

  • no wwf just said that so hogan can get more popular

  • Taker would put over Doink The Clown and Barry Horowitz if he was asked to. TRUE LEGEND AND PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! No one comes close.

  • Undertaker lost both matches too the Ultimate Warrior if i remember... 1 by a DQ & the second he got the pin 123.

  • What do you mean, both matches?

  • @Deeky74 warrior never pinned the undertaker.

  • Chico Santana - Taco Salesman from Tijuana. I quote the legendary Jesse "The Body" Ventura. lol.

  • lol and they billed undertaker as undefeated going into Survivor series 91. I think he also lost a body bag match to Ultimate Warrior before that as well

  • Real class by the Taker. Plus, this loss didn't make Taker look bad because Santana had to use the urn to win. See, guys like HHH could learn from this. You could beat a guy and still put him over.

  • Even tho at this time Undertaker was new to WWE this showed what a great guy he is and is willing to put people over..Undertaker has allways put people over and had no problems doing so during his career.

Win or lose he made any one he faced look good. that is the mark of a great wrestler. I respect him a lot for his willingness to put people over.

  • Its not up to the undertaker to put anyone over. its up to the wwe. If the wwe wants someone like santino marella to win he will win and undertaker has to let him whetter he likes it or not.

  • I don't consider this to be Taker's first loss, since it wasn't on TV in the United States. His first loss was to Hulk Hogan at Tuesday in Texas.

  • nope wwf just said that

  • I only count televised matches.

  • well real bussines counts too

  • What's wrong with Tito Santana winning? I mean I love Undertaker but Tito had been jobbed so much it's nice to see him win.

  • Well at least hogan can't claim that one

  • I thought Takers first Loss Was too Hogan for the WWF Title at Tuesday in Texas '92 when hogan threw ash in his eyes

  • well........o.k. but i still don't got it. this win was only made for the crowd preferance i think!! its obvious!!

  • Didn't know that Tito was the first guy to win over Undertaker. That kinda takes away from Undertaker a little bit.

  • if he lost to el matador maybe but this was the great tito who was an IC champ and tag team champ. No shame in that loss

  • No way this was great. This was just another example about what a pro Taker is. He was mega-over during this time, what you would call "white hot" ...and for him to job to a veteran like Tito in his hometown is GOLD. As a matter of fact, I wouldnt be at all surprised if it was Taker himself who volounteered to put Tito over. Hogan, Warrior, Savage or Flair would have never done that.

  • hogan jobbed to the mountie in his hometown !

  • dont you dare talk about savage that way

  • "Dont you dare talk about savage that way"

Why? What're you gonna do haha
